Now with 20% more mechanical grunge!
Who: Bloodsport Crew, ASSEMBLE.
Broadcast: Maybe??
Action: The ship (or on a station I'm not picky)
When: After all that Marsiva nonsense
[GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE. instead of waking up in the cold, super-sterilized rooms of the Marsiva, you come to back in your very own room on the Bloodsport! some of you have never met each other, and a few of you have never even stepped foot on the ship before... but it's never too late to explore and greet your neighbors!
and in case anyone was wondering, yes, there are still a dozen fishbowls scattered around the ship. the glowing fish inside them seem perfectly fine. you may all rest easy, or wonder why the hell there are so many fish on this ship in the first place.]

Fuck no. I can't drive a fucking car in my world. Humanity's made a couple of trips to the moon, but that's about it.

What year is it?

Well, that's .... pretty far in the future. She doesn't even know what to say to that, other than staring at him. ]

[ She brings her cigarette back to her lips. ]

[He pauses, then decides fuck it. It doesn't matter here.]
I remember it. The twenties were fantastic.
no subject
Not the best I've had so far, no.
[ The twenties kind of sucked for her, too, but she won't get into that. ]
Better than any decade after it, would you say?

Hm. Well, the sixties were lively. Civil rights became a thing, that was fun. It was good to get out there and fight for something again.

She hesitates, because it's kind of weird to essentially ask someone to spoil the future for you, but ... ]
And the Nazis?
no subject
[He liked world war two for the clear cut good and bad in that regard. No one could complain about him killing Nazis.]
There'll be trials. It'll be fucking horrible to get there, but the Allies will beat them.
no subject
Hmm.
[ She sounds satisfied, anyways -- and she'll just take another drag of cigarette ]

Where you from?
no subject
Britain. Venice, more recently.
no subject
Hm. Mussolini. Prick.

But ... ]
Mm. We have bigger problems than him, at the moment.
[ She flicks some ashes to the ground. ]

[He stubs out his cigarette on the wall and shoves the butt into an empty pack.]
