[Furiosa is, on one hand, relieved to be back on the First Breath. The Calibrations were exhausting, in their own ways, and it's good to be back on her familiar rig.]

[But there's one thing that's pulling at her; a certain absence. She should have made a greater push to find and watch over Nux when they were all on the Marsiva, but she was distracted and unfocused. Now, she can't ignore the niggling truth and decides to take it to the network. She is crisp and clean, fresh from the shower and without the harsh swath of black she'd taken to wearing for Nux's sake. This, she is asking as Furiosa, and not as Imperator.]

Has anyone seen Nux? Red Fish, can you confirm?

It was weird. [She focuses on her cocoa for a moment, but she notices there's something off about Nova.] Did anything ... happen?

[ looking at the wall for a bit ]

I'm getting more memories back.

[Furiosa watches her carefully.] What sort of memories?

Stuff from home. That I didn't remember before.

[Furiosa leans forward and cradles the mug between her hands.] Do you want to talk about it?

[ yeah, maybe some of it. but she doesn't know how to articulate anything and she doesn't want to burden Furiosa ]

I don't know.

[She nods. She's no stranger to having a few dark secrets she prefers to keep to herself, but there's also a camaraderie, a vulnerability that brings tortured souls together. She's learning to open to others, other women particularly.]

If you do, I'll be here. [She leans back and takes a sip, deciding the change the subject and trying to figure out what to change it to.] It was interesting ... sharing the same ship with everyone.

Yeah? At least we got our own rooms. It was too much for me, though. Too many people.

There were a lot in one place. I'm not used to everyone being on even ground like that. [Considering the extreme hierarchy she grew up in.] It is good to be back on our rig.

What do you mean, "on the ground"?

There was an order, where I came from. The Citadel was carved into a mesa and at the top was Immortan Joe and at the bottom were the civilians and if you were lucky you found yourself somewhere in between. No one was equal, not like what we had on the Marsiva.

The Capitol is in the mountains, surrounded by other wealthier districts and protected by the range.

12 was... far away, and very poor. That's where I was from.

[Similar, though Furiosa's situation was much more condensed. She looks down at her cocoa and seems to think for a moment. She was probably closest with Nova than any other person on the First Breath, and after the experience with the Calibrations felt the need to connect.] I wasn't a part of it. Not initially. I was taken from my clan.

Yes. My mother and I, when I was about twenty. [She pulled in a deep breath.] She died three days later.

[She was at least afforded that time, but has spent as much time fighting against the hierarchy and trying to melt in to be unnoticed.]

[ she's quiet for a moment. she hesitates on speaking up. she doesn't want it to seem like a competition, because it's not, but if she doesn't tell anyone she might burst ]

The Capitol firebombed 12. A few hundred—from thousands—were able to escape. Everyone else...

[It's hard for Furiosa to think about population on that scale. There were maybe a few hundred at the Citadel, maybe a couple thousand spread out between that, Bulletfarm, and Gastown, but Nova's comment - from thousands - takes a moment to sink in.]

That's ... quite a loss.

[She looks up, knowing. She wanted to get back to her world for just that reason, but she could understand where someone else wouldn't want to give up the peace this place offered, to an extent.]
