Well, their ship needed extensive repairs when they made landfall, so -

She's quieter.] The one on the drums is Amethyst. Garnet's on the keytar. And Rose Quartz is singing.

[Though now he's paying attention to the video. Oh, wow... These are Pearl's friends? Of course, there's Greg. He should've known the rest of her friends would be... well, other crystals.]

Whoa... Rose Quartz is really good. [The others are great at their instruments too, of course! But her singing is really standing out here.

He glances at Pearl, then back at the video playing.]

[pause] Well, I mean Amethyst can't accumulate that much garbage in the rest of the temple. Probably.

Mm, I don't think so. You take good care of us here, and you're really good with Steven. You protect us if we get into trouble, you look out for us, you make sure we're all okay even if you don't really understand.

[He reaches out to set his hand on top of hers, just for a moment to give it a little squeeze, before he pulls it back.] I feel like you're definitely missed down there. I know I'd miss you if you left.

It's easier to keep working hard. [here's a quiet smile, though it looks like she's got a slight blush on her face]

[.... Oookay, now there's a little blush on his face, because if there's one thing he's still insecure about, it's his position as captain and how he's viewed by his crewmates. So he glances away and runs a hand through his hair.]
