[The view from the personal communicator broadcasting this particular message is — well, it's two things, really. One is that it's capturing a lovely, albeit partially-obscured view of the Marsiva, which also appears to be moving along at an ambling walking pace that's indicative of someone wandering around. The other is that whoever's responsible for this particular broadcast evidently missed the memo about appearing in it, because she's nowhere in sight.

All of which presumably adds up to the logical (and correct) conclusion: the communicator got shoved in a pocket and turned on by mistake, and here we are, granting the fleet an impromptu and oblivious tour of the Hospitality Deck and its sights and relative lack of sounds.]

...Helloooooo? Hello, perdonami! Um...if someone's there, I think there's been a...mistake...

[Wandering, wandering. Time to go look down the medical wing's corridor in search of human life, and be utterly disappointed.]

Hello? Someone in charge, can I speak with you, please? Someone? I can't be here right now, the boat's going to leave without me — it takes thirty minutes to get back, if I miss it I'll be stuck waiting a whole hour! I can't wait a whole hour, there's chores, the laundry won't get done if I'm not — I think I might've left the gas on, is someone theeeeeeeeere?

[The video meanders again; now we're over by the windows, evidently peering out into the void.]

[For a moment, she considers doing a full-body pan of herself with the camera, and then she actually thinks about it, and decides that SOME PEOPLE don't need the provocation and just holds it close to her face and then her arm instead.]

Caesar says people get better when they're brought here. I guess that means me, too...

[Wow, excuse you. He has some self-contr--no, the narration cannot even type that out. Fortunately he is oblivious to what she was considering. Unfortunately, he needs very little provocation all the same.]

Well then, I guess I'll have to be sure to take care of things as quickly as possible. I wouldn't want to keep a pretty girl like you waiting for long.

[Good. This is good. He's silly, like he always is, and he's flirting like he always does, and it's funny how she can tell the difference — they're really different, Jojo and Caesar, but sometimes they're so in sync and this is one of them, because they're both trying so hard to cheer her up and help her bear up, and it's working.]

You better! And just coming to see me once I'm on one of the little ships doesn't count, okay? You still have to come back at home, too!

[Suzie's a good girl. As far as Joseph's concerned, she doesn't deserve to be wrapped up in anything bad or dangerous. While he wouldn't exactly label this whole experience a bad thing like some of the more disgruntled members of the Fleet, he recognizes it can be dangerous, too. So if he can keep her distracted from that and get a smile on her face, that's exactly what he's going to do.]

I promised, didn't I? You don't even have to worry about it. I always keep my promises.

Besides, I might not even have to come visit you. You might end up on my ship, which, not to brag or anything, [he grins crookedly] happens to the best in the whole Fleet.

Yours is...mm, Caprine! It's really the best one, huh? Is that just because you're there?

Weeeell, that's certainly one reason. But the rest of the crew's good, too. [A beat.] Once you get to know them anyway. Elecman's a little bit of an asshole at times and Mal's kinda weird and makes way too many announcements over the intercom system just to hear her own voice, but other than that it's a great crew!

Those are funny names. Are those your friends?

[Well. Hopefully not the asshole, but still.]

If I don't, they'll introduce themselves.

[Mal especially because she nosy as all get out, but it's not like the Caprine is all that shy. He is also just now realizing he's probably in for A Lot if Mal and Suzie cross paths. Dammit.]
