[The rolling camera grabs her first few moments; waking up, shifting out of bed and looking around her. She gathers herself, pulling on the undersuitting and titanium alloy plating of her power armor. She seems a little peeved that that's all she has to wear, but it's ~~only slightly~~ better than wondering around in her underwear. She tucks the helmet under her arm, and it's at that moment she notices the communication device. She looks at the feed for a moment, then picks it up and pulls it closer to her face.]

[She'll be exploring the Marsiva while trying to work out what's going on; there are certain flashbacks to her times in space, from both events at the Castle, and back in her own world. Was she back at Paradisa? Just in time for another world change maybe?]

Yeah, last time I woke up on a ship that was decorated with people's innards. Not the happiest experience so I'm good with the whole -- minimalist hospital vibe they got going here.

[ she definitely succeeded! ]

The rest of the ships on the fleet tend to be a little more welcoming. You should be transferred within a week or so.

[She's good at it]

Oh, well that's definitely good to hear.

So, what's the story here? Who're we fighting?

Fighting? No one. I mean - [ hrm. ] The ships have been attacked a couple of times, but we don't really know by who.

We're not fighting but we've been attacked? Ugh. Why do I always end up on the losing team.

The fact that we're not actively trying to start a war doesn't mean we're losing anything.

Oh please; if a bully hits you and you don't fight back, you've lost. All they learn is you're an easy target.

Sure, if you want to oversimiplify... literally everything. Take it easy. Things aren't that bad here.

Or maybe people just know it's better to try to get along than to fight pointlessly when we're all going to be trapped here together.
