I've been here for a few months now. Nearly half a year, even. And in that time, I've noticed that there's a ton of different worlds represented here, and most of them have different forms of magic. I'm a mage myself, so I find it pretty interesting.

So, I'd like to hear about all the forms of magic represented here. Especially if it's possible for you to teach it, or at least the basic principles and rules behind it. I'm trying to research if principles from one form can be applied to other forms from other worlds. Maybe combining magics from other worlds that aren't supposed to interact could be our way out of here.

[She levitates her staff from the wall to her hand, where it promptly vanishes- No point in discussing all of this magic without a demonstration, right?]

On a different note, I'm still working on a guide for new arrivals here. If anyone is willing to help give information that isn't contained in the guide I have, it would be a big help. Thanks.

Yeah. And no team to help you get adjusted. You're just sort of at the mercy of whoever decides to reply, or not. I figure if my guide gets spread around enough, people can start sending it to the new people as they show up. Give everyone some starting ground to work with, keep things grounded.

And some things are much better there than here, like the food. But sometimes it was hard too. I was born just a few years after the biggest war that ever happened in history.

The food's better on literally any other place. Hell, the last interdimensional shithole I was in had decent food, at least. ... A war?

Yes. Papa and Mama said things turned much worse for everyone after the war. So many people died, and then the inflation came and many people were jobless. Everyone struggled very much, and no one won any victories because of it, no matter what the leaders might have promised.

... I guess that makes sense. Well, the good thing about these places is that, if your world is too dangerous to go back to, it's possible you can go somewhere else instead.

So I've heard. It was a big topic of discussion at the last place I was at. There were a few people who had dimensional travel abilities on their own anyway. But it's basic logic. If they have the power to drag us here and return us to our home worlds, why couldn't they just return you to someone else's?

Well...what if you were in the middle of something before you were dragged here, though? Maybe that would mean you'd have to go back, because you couldn't just disappear from it.

Is it important enough to go back to impending war for?
