[ that is literally the only thing zuko texts, because he has stepped out onto the ice planet ~~Hoth~~ and is promptly regretting ever doing so. firebenders rise with the sun, and zuko is a morning person, and nothing is more claustrophobic than being on a ship with no natural light, or heat, or energy -- and being outside alone is rejuvenating for him, but --

there is so much snow.

so feel free to spot him wandering around looking furious in a scarf, stubbornly melting a small patch of snow, or perusing the markets for things to buy with money that he probably asked someone else for.

or you can hit him with snow and take advantage of the fact that he is, in fact, a firebender on what is apparently a recreation of the northern water tribe. with more salt.

I guess I can't blame you. It kinda sucks not being able to see the sun all the time. You should still try not to freeze out there though, huh?

No, no, I bet the next one won't have ANY snow at all! It probably wouldn't be really fun to watch if we just kept going to snowy planets, you know?

I guess, unless people like watching us freeze. Or buy salt.

{ zuko didn't have television in his world, so he honestly has no idea whether or not people find it entertaining. or why you'd want to watch reality TV in the first place. his days usually aren't very exciting, BUT ]

I wouldn't say no to a month of beaches.

Ugh. I wouldn't watch a TV show with people just freezing all the time.

Buuut!! I think I would watch a show with a lot of beaches! I bet lots of people would!

Beaches, palm trees, fresh fruit.

No tundra.

Just the sun and the ocean.

ESPECIALLY the ocean.

The ocean is optional for me, but I guess it would be nice.

I guess I just really like the ocean.

But you can't have the beach without the ocean anyway! You just don't have to go in it.

I know.

My home has oceans. And we have ships, and boats. But we're not dependent on the ocean to survive, and it's not a huge part of our culture. Or living.

{ the fire nation is a nation of commerce, of agriculture -- and fishing, to a certain extent, but only in the coastal towns. for the past one hundred years, they've survived off of warfare and pummeling everyone else into submission in order to obtain what they need. now, in a new era of peace, they have to figure out how to go forward.

I think I get it. We don't really go in the ocean much where I'm from either, I guess.
