Who: The intrepid crew of the SS Paisley!
Broadcast: anything could happen, I guess?
Action: Anywhere on the ship
When: From the shuffle through the end of the month

[ Well the ship could only stay empty but for her captain for so long. And I'm sure the audience is just DYING to know what happens when these older folks show up and find their ship is captained by a 17-year-old with an attitude problem.

Let the games begin... ]

Who: Joel and you!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Paisley
When: 3/21

[The video is... a little awkward at first, but he's not not really used to using technology of this caliber even if he knows what this shit is and already had an idea before the augment helped. He's in a civilian room, presumably his own at this point.

The man on the video looks suspicious, maybe even angry. He's got an intimidating air about him, as if this is just how he is in day-to-day life. Every word he says sounds almost like it's spit. He is clearly unhappy about the circumstance under which he is here.]

Now, I reckon the people in this "fleet" would know the answer to this question. I'm lookin' for a little girl, about 14, with red hair and an attitude. Her name's Ellie. I'm on the--[he makes a face, like he doesn't think this could all possibly be real.]--the Paisley. If you know where she is, tell me.

[Something in his tone says he hopes she isn't, though.

[He doesn't feel the need to give his name just yet. Instead, he goes to turn the feed off, and it takes him a moment longer than others might need to figure out what he's doing before he manages to get it turned off.]

[having skipped a week, the Shuffle picks up afterward right when it should, with the familiar jingle ringing out through every speaker. and Diamond's voice follows, right on cue--sounding just as wired with an undercurrent of excitement as she has for the last few rounds of announcements.

you people are making her so happy.]

Good morning, dear passengers! We've missed you during our short break. Reruns just aren't the same as the real thing.

And, goodness... we're tuning in to find so many new faces! The audience hasn't been able to keep up with them all! In fact, if you would like to leave a short message to help identify yourself to your prospective fans, please do so at the end of this broadcast.

[the background chatter is easier to hear, today--canned cheers and praise, and some metallic thing rattling.]

As for the Shuffle, we're seeing another influx of more than seven newcomers, with only one or two leaving our ranks. With how fast we're filling up, you'd better start making room! We'd all hate to see what happens if there aren't enough accommodations when another big influx comes in.

[she laughs a little. and so does whatever makes up the background noise.]

In the meantime, I hope you're all enjoying your little vacation trip! It'll be over before you know it...

Until next time, dear passengers! Have fun... the worlds are watching!

Who: Kairi and everyone!
Broadcast: The whole Fleet
Action: None, except anyone else on the hospitality deck
When: March 21

[If this was part of Yen Sid's training, then Kairi had to admit that she was not at all prepared for it. She had expected a good dose of bizarre, especially given what Riku and Sora's Mastery exams had been, but this...

What was this?

Kairi blinked before sitting up on her bunk, rubbing her hands over her arms. She felt cold, even though the air wasn't especially chilly. But something was missing, and it only took Kairi a moment to notice that she was alone, at least from what she could see. No voices or anything, just the distant hum of machines.]

Hello? Is anyone there?

[When no one answered, she brought her knees up to her chin and wrapped her arms around her legs. As much as she didn't want to admit it, Kairi was a little scared. Yen Sid hadn't even told her anything; the last thing she remembered was just arriving there and being greeted. Surely he would have given her some kind of instruction before sending her off on her training? She had hoped Riku would be with her during her training, too. But he was nowhere to be found. Neither was Yen Sid, or the King, or anybody. She was completely alone.

Be brave! I can figure this out, she thought.

Taking a deep breath, she looked around, trying to see if there was anything around that could help. That's when she spotted the communicator off to the side.]

What's this? A phone?

[It... sort of looked like one. As she picked it up, she wondered if there was some way to call someone and ask for help. If it was a phone, then she should be able to, right? Because she had never handled any kind of tech quite like this, she had no idea it was recording the whole time. While she randomly pressed at buttons and tried to figure out the communicator, she then realized that it was already doing something. Specifically, sending a call (or so she guessed).]

Hello? Can someone hear me? Please, if you can tell me what's going on, where I am... I'm not where I'm supposed to be, and I really need to go back. It's really important.

[A moment. Thinking she's on a regular phone, when she doesn't hear someone respond, Kairi's expression became crestfallen.]

Please.

[She sighed, trying hard to keep her spirits up as she pressed a few more buttons. Unintentionally, she ended the broadcast there.]
