[ after she wakes up and orients herself, hermione spends quite a long time standing in front of the marsiva's massive windows. her arms wrap tight around her middle as she stares out into the void. if she looks a little overwhelmed, that's because she is. things back home aren't exactly great at the moment and now this.

once her legs get tired, she heaves a great sigh and walks over to a network station. it takes her a little while and quite a bit of backspacing before she's satisfied with her message and sends it off to the rest of the fleet. ]

I'm looking for anyone familiar with magic or, more specifically, the name 'Hogwarts.' Please reply to this if you recognize it. Thank you for your time.

Things keep slipping away. Has anybody found a way to record them that keeps? Because it's hard to investigate things when your memories of them are wiped clean the next day...

[She seems distracted, distant.]

Also, I asked our hosts why I was brought here, but I'm not sure if they're being sincere or not. [She snorted derisively.] Apparently people find it adorable that I'm insecure. Who knew?

Marsiva

[Jennifer, of course, is investigating the laboratory, as she's done every day since she's discovered its appearance. But nothing- even making marks in the dust- lets her retain what she's looked into the previous days, and it's starting to get to her.

What was real and what wasn't any more? She wasn't sure. Being stir crazy and away from being able to do her actual job definitely wasn't helping.]
