[Here is a little redhead, glass of wine in hand, who appears to be right-side up, yet in the background everything appears to be… upside down? The kitchen is upside down, apparently.]

Question for all of you. It’s been brought to my attention numerous times that some of you don’t come from a world where people have fancy kinds of powers.

For those of you who do, what kind of powers have you experienced? How do yours work? I’ve heard some say theirs are elemental based, while others are based on magic.

For those of you who don’t, have you ever wondered what having special powers is like? There has to be something more interesting than, say, if you were invisible, you'd spy on someone.

[And then he cuts the feed.]

[A - Network/Video]

[Oh man, not again. Being kidnapped by some unknown alien force really needed to stop happening. What are even the odds of that? Is there a card you can get stamped? And just in case waking up alone in this very stark room wasn't bad enough, his head was killing him. Probably from the alien lo-jack that he felt behind his ear. Or... that's what he assuming the bump was. But he could worry about that later. He needed to find the others.

Shaking off the headache he slipped off the bed to head for the door. It was eerily quiet as he entered the Hospitably Deck and he paused. The place looked abandoned. Oooookay. This isn't creepy at all. He scanned the area, searching for anything that remotely looked like control panel and made a b-line for it.

The feed flicked on to reveal the image of a young man wearing quite the colorful space suit. His expression brightened seeing that the video was going through.
]

There we go.... Hello? Lance? Guys? Is anyone picking up this transmission? This is Hunk, Yellow Paladin of Voltron and I have no idea where I am. I thought I saw a sign that said 'Hospitality Deck' but there doesn't seem to be anyone here. I'd at least expect cupcakes.

Except there is some smooth jazz playing in the distance somewhere? Which just makes me being alone even creepier.

If anyone is getting this, please respond.

[B - SS Heron Bridge]

[There was a sudden new surprise for the crew of the SS Heron. With a flash of confetti and the fanfare of tiny trumpets, a very confused looking Hunk was now standing in the middle of their bridge. He barely had time to send a broadcast let alone explore the previous ship he was on before he was whisked away again. Man, today just keep getting weirder.]

Hello? Anyone here?

[He picked the confetti from his hair as he scanned the room. Defiantly not on the Castle, but hey, its not galra either so... glass half full? And wait a second. Does his eyes deceive him? Was that a plate of chocolate pudding? It was that moment his stomach decided to make it's presence known. When was the last time he ate? Honestly, he couldn't remember which means it was too long. You know, you can't think when your tank is empty.

Sliding on over to the plate, Hunk picked up one of the small cups and was instantly filled with regret the moment its contents touched his lips. Blech! That wasn't chocolate! It was just paste to taste like chocolate which is just an insult to real chocolate! A wave of betrayal washed over his face as he stared down at the cup in his hands.
]

Great.... I'm missing food goo already.

Ssssoooo... anybody I know have a license to fly those space cars? I want to learn how to drive one! But they said I have to be 18 to drive it alone, so I need an adult with me. I can get the autopilot versions, but, um. They kind of freak me out? ...Also they suck. They really, really suck.

[did I mention the video image shows the background around her looks like it's upside down? because it totally looks like it is.]

Anyway, let me know if you can help! It can't be that different from a shuttle, and I'm not bad with those! Thanks in advance.

( on the planet; )

[how much do the autopilot hovers suck? Ochako's gone and found out the hard way. she's rented one that is exceptionally glitchy- it really likes to fly upside down, which is why her broadcast looks so weird. This isn't such a terrible thing when your superpower is gravity-erasing, but she can only do that for so long before she loses her lunch, so over the course of the rental she might pass people by doing the following:

1) sitting in her seat, upside down, looking awfully green

2) dangling from her clipped seatbelt like it's a swing, legs kicking

3) carefully climbing down the seatbelt trying to reach the ground

She might need a little bit of help. That's if she doesn't straight-up collide with somebody first. Uh, duck?]

Ah- ahhhh, look out!!

When: Now-ish.

Alright, well — hey, everyone. Just a few things, most of it kind of important to get out there ahead of time. First thing's first... Captain Nami's currently MIA; I'm guessing something Atroma-related. She's not anywhere on the ship, but her name's on the roster still. Until she's back, I'll take over reigns on the Bloodsport temporarily, so if anyone has anything they need to talk about regarding the ship, just let me know.

... I'll also be sure to help keep The Space Bar functioning, if any extra help is actually needed. Fenris, you think you can keep things going alright there as her second in command? Just let me know, I'll be more than happy to do a little more work outside of bar-tending.

[He's... worried. Really worried, as he usually is when his friends just disappear or fall into comas. The comas are a lot easier, actually — seeing where people are, even if they're not awake. Katie had also... Focus, Sam. Work first, worrying way later. It'd do no good to get distracted yet.]

Since Allen's left, I'm also gonna be taking over the blood drive for him. What he did was extremely important, and that blood can go towards important transfusions in case of emergency; it doesn't exactly happen too often, but I've been in plenty situations in my life where any little contribution means life instead of death.

If you're interested in giving blood, please let me know and I'll get you in on the screening process. Per the old guidelines, you have to be over the age of 16 and fill out the form attached to the video. Any supernatural or magical being who has a hard time around blood: restraint is a necessity.

The blood drive'll be on the Bloodsport. Which I guess is... actually kind of fitting.

I don't exactly have snacks to offer yet, but if anyone would like to make some, I'd be more than happy to pay you.

[Phew, that's not even the end of it. He flips gracefully through a few loose leaf papers.]

Also — before Kirito left the fleet, um. He and I worked on a GPS function for the network devices, so that you can send out your coordinates. It's an easily accessible function that can show exact locations on planets or in space, in case you want to meet up with someone or — more importantly — if you end up lost or injured and need assistance.

It's not perfect, but it helps increase your chances of getting out of a messy situation and saves time in day-to-day traveling planet-side. It does need to be manually placed on your communicators, though, so please let me know if you're interested and stop by the Bloodsport when you've got a chance.

... And give it up for Kirito; this thing wouldn't be half as functional without his half of the work.

[He clears his throat.]

Man. Lot of people missing or left, huh? How about something else? Say one good thing about yourself. Maybe... something you're good at, or a feature you like. Maybe a hobby you're good at?

I try to practice it myself; reminding myself of things I like about me. So... Lay it on me.

(OOC: Blood drive is handwaved! You can also handwave Sam putting the network GPS on your communicator, but comment here so I know who he's been adding the code to if you can. So much to do, so little time, lmfao.)
