002 // action for bishop
Who: Haruka Tenoh & crewmates
Broadcast: n/a
Action: Aboard the Bishop
When: This week (after getting her doll from Cheese)
[ The ship has a more festive air in it this time of year. Haruka wouldn't have been in a celebrating mood anyway, but if pressed to admit it, she supposes there's a resilience to be found in such gestures during captivity.
She is not being pressed, however. At least not externally. Internally, however....
If you're minding your own business walking through the halls of the Bishop, you may hear a mighty sneeze. If you check the pilot's chair, you may find someone dozed off in it, a slight flush on her face.
And if you're out in the hallways on one particular night, you may hear a thump and find Haruka Tenoh sprawled, feverish and sniffly, on the floor. She's spent a few hours pretty much every day they've visited this star system down planet-side. That's enough exposure to the pathogens to overcome even her immune system.
Careful when approaching. She's sweaty and cranky. "Barely conscious" may be the most preferable state in which to find her.... ]

This is a bad idea. Her fingers drop just before they brush Michiru's as her head swims and she finds herself lying flat on the floor again, breathing through her mouth. The stuffiness is bad enough, but the lightheadedness is the biggest pain.
The wind does not appreciate feeling full of nothing but air. ]
no subject
And she's kneeling next to you, hand on your shoulder.] Try and sit up.
[one step at a time]
no subject
Except once she gets propped up she might not want to move. This is tiring. Can she stay here? ]
no subject
Michiru waits patiently, hoping you'll look less dizzy before she tries to pull you to your feet.]
no subject
...hopefully they're near the wall. (She'll do her best to catch herself either way, though.) ]
no subject
It's a bit precarious at the moment, and she's not sure how long she can maintain this.]
Haruka.
[a quick glance to the side. At least the wall is within reaching distance.]
no subject
Blearily, she looks down the hallway. ] My room is closer.
[ Whether this is actually true or not may be up for debate. But Haruka doesn't want to turn Michiru's area into a sickroom. It's the least she can do for the imposition she's making. ]
no subject
She shifts, wrapping her arm around your waist and pulling your other arm across her shoulders.]
no subject
But really, what a trial. She feels scarred for life. ] I might need some counseling after this.
no subject
I believe you already know what I'll say.
[not she's willing to bet that you'll learn anything from this]
no subject
And blinking away a runny eye. That planet took revenge but good. ]
no subject
Come on. [almost there. She lets go of your arm to open up the door to her office.]
no subject
Haruka sways but doesn't fall when deprived of Michiru's arm. She's this close. She can make it. ] It's something....about the planet, I think....
[ ....or she would think if she were better at thinking right now, but maybe she'd better focus less on their Mission and more on her own welfare. This is so pathetic. She tries to laugh a little but ends up sounding a bit sad. ]

[plenty of (other) people know how to dress for the weather. She grips your arm again, and starts leading you over to the couch.
At least it's a nice, comfy couch - as they've no doubt already discovered.]
no subject
[ She has not ruled that out, however. When it comes to Atroma, she rules nothing out. ]
no subject
[she's perching on the sofa too, and pressing the back of her hand against your forehead]
no subject
Closing her eyes and trusting her nurse, Haruka chooses to focus just on relaxing into the couch for now. Much nicer than the hallway floor. ]
no subject
I'm going to go get your blankets. Have you eaten?
[she'll probably have to get Tadashi involved sooner or later.]
no subject
[ Unless you insist, in which case that can't be helped. But she hasn't been feeling very hungry. ]
no subject
I'll be back. [she doesn't have to say "don't move," right?
Michiru heads out the door, closing it behind her.]
no subject
While waiting for Michiru to get back, she decides to rest her eyes. Resting her eyes turns into resting the rest of her.
She'll be passed out on the couch by the time Michiru returns, but from the troubled look on her face, it's not a peaceful (or deep) sleep. She's too uncomfortable for that, and that's not something even a comfortable couch can fix. ]
no subject
Haruka. [she places a light hand on your shoulder, while holding the glass of water in the other] Drink some water.
no subject
[ Let's see if she can't answer those feelings. She sips her water and tries not to sniffle from congestion. It's not what elegant ladies do. ]
no subject
[hands now free, she goes to grab the pillow and blankets. Pillow goes at one end of the couch, and she'll hold onto the blankets for the moment.]
no subject
When it's over, she sighs in resignation. This is no fun. ]
