Who: Luke Skywalker
Action: Planetside;
When: December 27th
[He's spent three days lurking on the Marsiva, acquainting himself with the network, with the chatter and the confusion, learning all he can, hiding himself away from anyone else on there. Foolish, perhaps, when the others on here are likely fellow captives-- but better to be too cautious right now than too reckless. Better to assume he has no allies than bank on the wrong people.
There's been no word on the network on Leia or Han, but it would be too much to expect a neon sign pointing towards his friends. It might be too much to expect they're here at all, but he won't give up hope til the Fleet outright leaves this system.
But so: it's long past time to end this charade. The Marsiva has given him all it can, and now it's time to begin making himself known. Luke walks openly along the streets of the planet, unassuming and barely noticeable. With all the training he's had, he has little to fear-- but still, his face is drawn. Occasionally he'll speak to this person or that, asking a few questions-- but moving, always moving, quite clearly intent on finding something.
Someone. There are Force-sensitive people here, probing gently at the edges of his mind; he doesn't know who or why, but he's intent on finding them.
Even beyond them, though, he's asking questions-- mostly of people who look like they don't belong, who might be fellow Fleeters. Questions about their world, their homes, their experiences here.]

Do you mean the planet, or the fleet?
[It's clear she's used to answering questions promptly, that's for sure.]
... I hope this isn't speaking out of turn, Master Skywalker, but ... you seem distracted.
[Because he can only be a master, right? He's older than her, and he has no Padawan braid.]

I've never been kidnapped and put on as entertainment before.
[A joke, but one that allows him to evade the question.]
We're not the only Jedi here.
[Not a question.]

[He's speaking oddly, vaguely, trying desperately to keep all his emotions under control. She might not be a Jedi any longer, but she still has enough ability to sense him-- and thus sense his emotions. His conflict.]
I don't know him particularly well-- not at all, honestly, except for a few stories here and there. Can you tell me a bit about him?

[Ahsoka's confusion is palpable in the Force. By her calculations, Luke and Han are only from twenty or so years in the future. Anakin should only be in his mid-40s. Why doesn't Luke know him? Two Jedi in the same Order with the same name is rare enough, she'd think they'd have at least made each other's acquaintance. Not to mention, Anakin being famous...
The only conclusion she can draw is... not good. Anakin must have died. That's the only possible explanation. An unpleasant knot starts to form in her stomach, and she decides she doesn't actually want to know.]
Surely you've read about him though, right? "The Hero with No Fear" and so on and so forth?

[And that's the truth, if not all of it. Luke shifts. Her confusion is easily felt, and he adds by way of explanation:]
It's been a busy few years, and I travel across the galaxy more often than I'd like. I've heard of him-- but you know him.
[God, but this lying-without-lying is tricky.]

I know he probably feels different to you from other Jedi, but... he's a good person. If that's what you're worried about.

How to say this? How to articulate any of the fervent curiosity running through him? It doesn't make sense, not with who she thinks he is-- but god, he just wants to know what he's like.]
I suppose I'll meet him soon enough.
[He'll just have to find out for himself.]
I don't suppose you got to keep your lightsaber?

[She shakes her head.]
I didn't have my lightsabers on me even before I came here. Sorry.

[He offers her a slight smile-- he doesn't know why she's an ex-Jedi, but hopefully she won't mind this.]

But if you want to spar, I'm happy to help. I've amassed a small collection of knives and swords since we landed. Though-- I'm sure you're much more advanced than I am.

You might not want to assume too much. My own Master would certainly disagree.

Please. You're obviously strong in the Force. You can't hide it.
no subject
I suppose not.
[Man are you in for a disappointment.]
Perhaps you could show me around, if you know the planet at all? I need a new weapon.
i'm happy to speed thru tours if u are
Of course. I'd be happy to. This way!
[She gestures for him to follow her, and takes him down main street. She points out where's good to eat, where's bad to eat. The traders who try to rip people off, and the traders who will haggle. Eventually, she stops at a weapons dealer she knows, and the man nods hello at Ahsoka, clearly friendly. She's been here before.]
