We're Riding Solo
Who: The crew of the Huntress and any visitors!
Broadcast: Nope!
Action: The Huntress!
When: From now-ish until later-ish?! Go nuts!
[Time to get away from the icy ravages of the planet? Or see what happens when the Huntress tries to make the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs? All your threading needs are here!]

[action]
After finding his bunk and placing his very few belongings on top of the bed he starts to wander around.]
This is a lot smaller than the other ship. [He has his back pressed against a wall, hands folded behind his back. Would one of my siblings be here? No, he remembers that has been a ship called after a fish.] Where can I find the weaponry?
[action]
That depends on why you're asking. Are you the new security grunt?
[action]
They have put me in charge of security, aye. [He nods shortly and straightens his back a little more.] Could you help me, ser?
[action]
Turns out, I was just in the armoury earlier. Follow me, pal.
[action]
It seems I do not have much of a choice, ser. [He tries to let his voice sound light but, oh, he does notice the squeak at the end of it.] Is it far from here?
[action]
[action]
I hope you are japing, ser. [The smile around his lips is a bit of an uneasy one.] It would be dangerous if this ship would fall apart while we travel through this space, not?
[action]
[Ah! The armory! Ling steps in where there's... well, not a whole lot really. But at the very least there are a few sidearms available for the non-security members of the crew. Greed plucks himself up one for himself. It's a little different than an Amestrian gun, but the concept is similar enough that he gets it.]
Pretty sure you being the security grunt, you get the biggest one here.
[action]
[Robb Stark has a lot of things to do and his plan has always been to die of old age, surrounded by his sons and daughters. The way his father should have died.
Once arrived he looks around himself, eyebrows slightly raised.]
I do not want to hold the biggest one. The weight would slow me down during an incident. {At least, so he thinks.]
[action]
[Which is why Greed goes ahead with picking up the automatic weapon to hand to Robb.]
[action]
I will keep it in mind for larger battles. [After he has received the gun he puts it away again and picks out a smaller one. Larger than the smallest gun but not as large as the biggest one.] This one will be fine, ser.
[Robb Stark knows what he is doing.]
Am I the only one carrying a weapon here?

But she approaches him with natural confidence and a thoughtful look. ]
T'would depend on what you choose to wield. There is little enough in the way of magic, but swords, spears and bows I think you might find on the land beneath.
no subject
No, I do not speak of magic. [He holds up the item he knows is called a ‘gun’.] Weapons similar to these. I do not think swords have a place in...well, space. [Gods, her face looks terribly blue.] This is what I know of here. [Even though, deep down, he prefers a sword.]
no subject
A weapon in the hands of the unskilled is no good weapon, but I imagine if you are to be our guard that you have been gifted with the knowledge of a Machinist.
I am Marhi Ohsi, or Metallic Gold Magpie - I am the lab support here. It's a pleasure to meet you.
no subject
I have not received such a gift, my lady. [She is a lady, isn't she? A cat-lady.] These weapons are strange, yet familiar to me. I think they might be faster than a simple sword or bow and arrow. I...I do not entirely understand what you mean.
[Of course, there was the small bump behind his ear and they mentioned something about it but he did not entirely understood that either. After she mentions her name he nods deeply.]
Robb Stark, well met, my lady. [The smile around his lips is a little bit uncomfortable. He is not used to meeting creatures so different.]
[action]
she stands in silence -- hesitant on the threshold. sansa watches him with pain in her eyes, unable to draw a single word from her throat. she wants to etch the sight of him into her memory so it might last, endure, and sustain her when her kin is inevitably torn away from her once again. ]
[action]
But eventually he turns and notices that there is someone watching him. A young girl with dark hair and... no, he knows that girl. For a moment he stands frozen, looking at his younger sister as if she is some sort of ghost.]
Sansa? [He takes one careful step forward while a warm and fond smile appears around his lips.] Do not stand there...I... [But eventually he just stops talking and crosses the small distance between them, wrapping his arms around her while pulling her close.]
[action]
she buries her face against his shoulder. she defies recent passivity and locks her arms around her brother's waist, squeezing him as tightly as she can just to prove that he's real. alive. ]
I missed you. [ her voice is muffled. ]
[action]
[The mixture of happiness and guilt is an odd thing to feel. He dreads the moment where she would ask him why he did not come for her. Why he could not.]
You are safe now... I promise you.
[He can feel the tears sting behind his eyes as he speaks.]
[action]
remarkably, she does not cry. sansa has long since conquered tears. ]
There is some mercy to be found in the Atroma -- [ she decides. mysterious as they are, she has them to thank for reuniting such disparate parts of her family. ]
[action]
And they are both here, floating through this space inside these ships.]
I take it they aren't known for kindness, then. [His words are soft when he speaks.] You should tell me more of this place. [He slowly lets go, his hands sliding to her wrists, taking hold of them in a gentle way.]
[action]
Nearly everyone on these ships -- Robb, they are unbearably kind.
[ she can hardly trust them. that is how kind they are. ]
[action]
There is no purpose to this? Except for us being entertainment to others?
[Well, Robb has had quite some discussions with some of these unbearably kind people.]
I am sure they are, Sansa. [It is hard to not make his voice tremble as he speaks, tears making his vision blurry.] Kinder than those bloody Lannisters, for sure.
[action]
There is a Lannister amid our number -- here, in the Fleet. [ cautious. she knows he knows -- because she peeped in upon the conversation from afar. ]
[action]
I know the Imp is here. [Rather the Imp than Joffrey or his mother. He sighs and frowns.] He is your lord husband, is he not? How did that happen? [Probably greedy Lannisters wanting to get their bloody hands on Winterfell and the North. That is not going to happen, not during Robb’s rule.] Who arranged that?
[Robb tries to keep his voice warm and kind but he can’t help the strict frown on his face.]
[action]
[action] [rule should be reign in my previous tag :c]
it's all good!
