Broadcast: Nope!
Action: The Huntress!

revving the engine...
you may even stumble across han attempting to pry a panel off in order to look at the innards to see if this thing can be coaxed into going faster. ]

a dark-haired (dyed!) young woman stands just outside the doorway to the bridge. her hands are clasped solemnly in front. she doesn't say a word -- but might, now and then, be seen from the corner of his eye. she isn't brave, but she is curious. ]

But, also, more concerning. Marhi watches him pry at the panel, ears flicked back with concern and tail just slightly bristling, and speaks up after only a moment. ]
I pray you know what you do, for I would not like to end today by choking in the void.

late backdated to before she transfers tag WOOO I'VE BEEN MEANING TO TAG THIS I'M SORRY ;;She hadn't any plans on conversing much with any of the newcomers, until she hears a concerning sound in the bridge, which leads her to think there's something wrong with the ship. While she intends on transferring soon, the Huntress holds a lot of memories for her.
Elize steps through the doorway, clinging her stuffed animal to her chest. She raises an eye ridge seeing the stranger prying off one of the panels. She frowns. ]

Hey everyone. This is your Kurt speaking. ...I mean, your captain! But I'm still your Kurt, too. I mean a Kurt. Or... just Kurt.
...
Anyway! I don't know what to do now, but I decided we should start having a suggestion jar! Just leave your suggestions in the jar and I'll see what I can do about them, yeah? ...And until I can find a jar to buy that's not made out of salt, why don't we just use that table over there?
[Beyond that, he can be found chilling around the ship, especially in the kitchen, and working his way through a box of tissues.]

[Greed doesn't take long to find the blue whatshisname that is going about calling him captain. It's almost endearingly naive - but Greed isn't one to fall for sentimentality. Unlike the only somewhat helpful Ling on the planet, Greed is like someone else entirely. That's because he is.]
The ship seems to think I'm captain.

My name is Robb Stark, I am in charge of security at your vessel, ser. [And a suggestion jar? Gods be good, what kind of system is that? Robb narrows his eyes and shakes his head.] What are your orders for today? Do you want me to guard your chambers? [A pause.]
I will not put parchments into a jar. That is folly, ser.

She spends most of her time in her personnel room, almost as usual, except she's far quieter these days and the door isn't kept wide open to welcome visitors like it used to be. Not even the sound of her drawing on her papers. She can be found either sitting or lying down in silence while holding her strange doll on the couch. Or sometimes the only sound you might even hear is her faint sobbing.
The only time she can be seen outside of her rooms is when she leaves to fetch herself something to eat or drink in the kitchen and makes her way back through the hallways. Even then, she tries to make her trip as brief as possible. The most attention she'll give is spare you a glance with tired, red eyes, then continue on her way down the hall. ]

Greed was not one of those people. In his exploration of the ship, he could not help but overhear her, resulting in him standing inside her door - uninvited.]

A THOUSAND YEARS LATE
She knows what this will do to the girl, what it's going to do to her when she lets herself feel it, and at least Elize should not be alone and dealing with this development. She finds her in her room curled on the couch and initially thinks she's sleeping, but Jove enters anyway and sits beside her, rests her hand gently on the center of her back. If she's sleeping, Jove will let her sleep, content to sit there and rub her back until she wakes.]

She stands at her own station, double checking the first aid kit and sorting it to her liking. There is never too much care taken in such matters of health, and she wants to know it by heart rather than fumble blindly in an emergency.
Or she can be found dumping fresh meat in the galley near the microwave. Oddly enough, she reaches into the small bag she carries, and pulls out a chunk larger than the bag itself. And then comes the difficult task: How, precisely, does this microwave machine work? ]

Though eventually he discovers that his presence means there are all sorts of hidden compartments all around the ship. It's the ideal sort of arrangement for smuggling, if only he had something to smuggle. But for now, he can be found around the ship opening obscure places in the ship to find hidden compartments that presently have nothing inside.
[action]
After finding his bunk and placing his very few belongings on top of the bed he starts to wander around.]
This is a lot smaller than the other ship. [He has his back pressed against a wall, hands folded behind his back. Would one of my siblings be here? No, he remembers that has been a ship called after a fish.] Where can I find the weaponry?

Unfortunately, the beef she made to go with it is........ not that great. It's burned because she got impatient and turned up the heat. Oh well.
When not demolishing the kitchen, she's usually found in the cargo bay making use of the exercise equipment. Because the included weights aren't enough, she's improvised by lashing small boulders to each end of the barbell.]

Well, far better than Marhi herself, who has previously done the marvellous act of dumping raw meat on the counters, and into the freezer, and microwaving some for a snack after her hunting.
At least the microwave has become known as Definitely Not A Bomb For Once. ]
I see we have become shipmates.
