[ that gives him pause, and han straightens up to turn to her. ]

I'm not gonna break your ship. She'lll still fly. -- and I'm sorry for calling it garbage.

[ not particularly, but han gets irritated when people poke fun at the falcon, and he probably shouldn't be snippy toward a little girl just because he's having a bad day. even han solo has standards. ]

What's your name?

[princessia]

[ Her expression softens, less stern. He's forgiven. ]

My name is Elize. My job on the ship is personnel support, for now.

[ Until she transfers away. She still doesn't know what "personnel support" even means, yet she states her augment confidently enough like she does. ]

[falconing]

Elize.

[ repeated, memorized. ]

What d'you mean for now?

[ han turns back to the loose panel, shifting aside some loose wires. ]

Planning on finding a new job?

[princessia]

I've requested a transfer.

[ She remains watchful, peering over her stuffed doll. ]

Not... because I don't like it here.

[falconing]

Didn't think you'd leave for that, seeing as you jumped to defend her so fast.

[ han, though, is letting his eyes wander to the doll. ]

He going with you?

[ it's more a conversation starter than anything else. ]

[princessia]

Huh? Oh, you mean Hoppo...

[ Hoppo looks similar to her Teepo doll, but with more purple hues and without the ability to talk or float. Just a normal, lifeless creepy plush shaped like a potato. ]

...He is. I miss my old doll, but this one's fine.

[ She hugs the doll in her arms. She hasn't clutched so tightly to a toy in a long while, but the returning old habit provides her some comfort during hard times. ]

[falconing]

[ it's a shame, really. han would get along with teepo.

it is a little weird looking, though, but who is he to judge? ]

It's ... unique.

[ which is han solo for 'weird af'. ]

Did you get it on a planet, or did it come from home?

[princessia]

[ "Unique" is a good word to use around her. "Weird" would have gotten her seriously offended. ]

Teepo is much cuter.

[ ...Hoppo looks exactly the same as Teepo, Elize. ]

I just found him sitting in a basket in my room one day. He came from home.

[falconing]

[ huh ]

So the Atroma sends you stuff from home? Or did someone else bring it for you?

[ han has a list of things he'd like, like. the falcon. and. his gun. ]

[princessia]

Just once the Atroma gave me something.

[ She only received Hoppo about two months ago. In the other eight months she has been on the fleet, she hasn't received much else. The Atroma doesn't seem nice enough to give exactly what she wants, like Teepo instead of Hoppo. ]

Sometimes I find stuff from home on the other planets. I... don't really know why they're there.

[falconing]

[ hm ]

Well, I'm sure they rob us when we get here.

[ with a sigh of frustration ]

I'm missing a bunch of stuff -- apparently I can't be trusted with weapons.

[princessia]

They always take away everyone's weapons...

[ She can recall several broadcasts of people complaining about their missing weapons. Her staff and Teepo were missing when she first showed up and those were two belongings she almost always has with her. ]

It might be awhile until you can get your things back.

[falconing]

[ so these people want them defenseless, and have a hoard of their stuff somewhere. probably. great. ]

Figured as much.

[ a sigh, and he looks disgruntled. ]

I don't like one-sided fights.

[princessia]

[ Her shoulders slump. She already feels defeated by the Atroma, or whoever is behind this entertainment show they're on. ]

...I don't either.

[falconing]

[ ... smol child :c ]

-- but, you know, one-sided fights make for the best stories.

[ with much certainty, because han would know. ]

Everybody loves an underdog victory, right? There's got to be something we're missing -- nothing's impossible.

[princessia]

Even if someone's been here for months, do you think there's something they missed?

[ She's obviously talking about herself and other people on the fleet are in the same position as her. It's no wonder she seems so discouraged. ]

[falconing]

Maybe it was missing the right set of eyes.

[ with half a shrug. han isn't so egotistical to think he'll be the one to find something, but nothing can be ruled out. ]

I'm not accepting that this place is a permanent prison ship. Are you?

[princessia]

[ The response she gives is a quiet, solemn shake of her head. She doesn't want to accept it either. ]

[falconing]

So don't.

[ with half a shrug ]

You'll make it out. Maybe it just takes a little longer than you thought it was gonna take.
