You'd think that, wouldn't you? But look at me. [As a demonstration, he lets his other hand become covered in a hardened skin which makes his fingers more like claws.] Even I'm more dangerous than I look. So why bother with all the stress of command?

[Wow. That certainly is something! Like Wolverine but someone even more deadly-looking. ...And decidedly not on his side. He gulps as he glances at him.]

Y-you know... Now it almost sounds like you're the one with the threats...

[Greed's hand turns to normal and he uses the now normal hand to pat Kurt on the chest in that friendly way that best friends probably do.]

Nah, that's not me. You think I'd cut you through just because you're in the way? I'm a lot of things, but I'm not that. I just want what's best for both of us.

[He flinches as he's patted on the chest. And then gives a soft, unsure laugh.]
