You know that's a good question. Probably something stupid the captain came up with. The Captain is Davesprite, a weird, bird dude or something. It's complicated.

I was on the Huntress for a short time but moved to this ship to be with my friend. I mean I've heard stories, but this one beats my other ship. More food, more games, and it's bigger.

[ but he can't speak for many more of them, just from what he's heard and the way things change around here it's hard to say. ]

Yeah, it doesn't really make sense. Dramatic irony or something, I guess. The funnier the better, it seems.

Most of it is. But we've got more options on our ship. Not that they're great, but you can get creative I guess.

I can live with creative. It's gel that worries me. I'm glad to hear there's more than that.

It's not that bad, once you get what flavors go together. They give you some suggestions, too, so it tastes like things from our homeworlds, but. Not always the greatest substitutes.

Does powdered and gelled food sound healthy? I mean it's probably got nutrients and that stuff but... I'd still take a burger.

Field rations can be healthy, but still disgusting. It sounds like those.

... A burger would be nice, though.

Jade can make real vegetables, but even those get old after a while. We were able to hunt on the planet, so there's some meat for sharing but it's not like Earth.

I don't think she needs a garden, per se... she has this weird bracelet that she can use to make them. I think.
