That was real mature of you guys all skipping out on the Huntress just because I was made captain. [Literally just inputted a request into the computer for that. Nothing more.] I hope you all enjoy your new ships, because the Huntress is going to do just fine without you.

[He is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OKAY being ditched. He didn't even like you guys! Except he's not, because it makes him cranky and he's stuck kicking around on the Huntress trying to beat the high score on their new pinball machine. He's never played anything like it before, so he finds the experience pretty frustrating. But if anything, he's just bored and annoyed at having his 'possessions' taken away from him.]

[ she'd heard it all -- certainly, every last heated word. it had made her pulse race with panic. sansa wasn't capable of enjoying james's chivalry, because she was too preoccupied with cursing herself for coming so squarely under someone else's scrutiny. this isn't the life she must live in order to keep herself (and her brothers) safe.

[ in the pit of her stomach she knows that this young man is to be avoided at all costs -- his indifference reminds her of cruelty, and so he frightens her. best not to provoke such a beast. ]

You've got me figured all wrong, lady. See, your ignorant pal seemed to want to paint me as something that I'm not. But I have two rules that I don't break. Maybe she's trying to be polite and not hurt your pathetic feelings.

That's a lot of talk about who's business is whose. Or maybe you just want to impress her with the whole hero routine? But hey, if that's what you want, I'll play along. Maybe you'll get your chance to score with her if you take down big bad Greed.

You know, even if I were interested in Sansa as anything but a good friend, I don't need your help to go out on a date.

But if you're going for that whole 'boys will be boys' routine with her, I can safely tell you that you're not her type. She'd probably like someone who treats her with respect, not someone who tries to force her into paying respects to someone who obviously doesn't deserve it. Captain.

You earn respect, you're not just given it. What've you done to be worthy of someone offering you an ounce of respect? Because speaking to a lady like that just makes me want to freeze you to the ceiling.

Much as I'd enjoy seeing you try, you might try waiting around next time. The lady and I had already concluded our conversation. Or rather, we had.
