That was real mature of you guys all skipping out on the Huntress just because I was made captain. [Literally just inputted a request into the computer for that. Nothing more.] I hope you all enjoy your new ships, because the Huntress is going to do just fine without you.

[He is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OKAY being ditched. He didn't even like you guys! Except he's not, because it makes him cranky and he's stuck kicking around on the Huntress trying to beat the high score on their new pinball machine. He's never played anything like it before, so he finds the experience pretty frustrating. But if anything, he's just bored and annoyed at having his 'possessions' taken away from him.]

There's no need to be grouchy because they picked the superior ship, y'know? Them's just the breaks.

Superior? Only if you're piloting the Marsiva, kid. I haven't seen a single one of these ships that's not a junker.

For the little kid? Maybe. I did kind of piss her off before. [Not that he feels bad about that, she had it coming. But he can understand why she'd scamper off after that.]

Facial structure aside, how do you intend on making people stay if this is the kind of behavior you show? It's not exactly reassuring.

Natural leadership. [He may be kidding. Or maybe he's not. People do tend to fall in line with him.] Honestly, if everyone decides to abandon this flying tub to me, that suits me just fine. I don't tend to play well with others.

Yeah, well, this place is something of a setback. But there's a whole lot of galaxy out there and I've got nothing but time.

Even a galaxy can seem small for a need that great.

True. But I take what I can get.

[The ship may be small, but Greed's presence is enormous. Trapped within this single body is a thousand souls in anguish, all swirling around long devoid of any thought or reason. Within that well of souls it's next to impossible to really determine where Greed is inside all of that, much less the true owner of the body who is counted among those souls.]

[ He almost flinches, pulling back. Dangerous, very dangerous. All his senses tell him to be wary. Obi-Wan composes himself, as quickly as he can. It will not do, to let anything slip. ]

If you have the opportunity to get what you can. And even getting . . . does not mean keeping.
