[So Nami will address the network without fanfare.  She sounds cold.  Not in a help I'm freezing to death kind of way but I gave some idiot my coat kind of way:]

Hey, so I could use a h-hand.  Northwest from the town about thirty minutes out, there's a frozen over l-lake.  Mostly.  I just fished one of ours out of it and if he doesn't get warm he's gonna freeze to death.  Blankets or warm clothes for a... medium build guy broad shoulders.  A pickup would be even better.  [She pauses, glancing back over her shoulder as 'some idiot' - a wet angry cat of a man - starts sneezing violently.]

...a doctor's help would be ideal.

[Now that warmth is beginning to seep into her bones, Nami just gives a sigh as Allen talks, settling into the seat. She's fine now. Max might end up with a chill, but in this place he'll probably be looked after.

Whether he likes it or not. Heh.]

Thanks for the pickup, Allen. Probably that makes today just a small hiccup.

[Then she darts a pointed look at Max. Thank the nice man or she might consider kicking you.]

But he does give a slight nod to Allen. An agreement with Nami. No words to it, but it's one of some level of gratitude. That's usually how Max is measured — by the actions, less by the words.]
