[ As promised, in a few days time, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan make their way to the markets. They dress warmly, Obi-Wan procuring a thick cloak for himself. It's hard to feel like a Jedi Master without one.

He watches as Ahsoka flits from stall to stall as he lingers behind her, to correct her on her "bargaining" technique. In a way, they resemble a teenager, saddled with a wiser all-knowing uncle. He strokes his beard in light amusement. This is probably what he needed right now, a reassessment of his priorities, the here and now. ]

What ship did you get assigned to, in the end? I'm guessing it's not the Starstruck, since we're at capacity.

The Golden. I don't know anyone else there. [ Hera makes a small face at that. She's far too used to flying with her "family". ]

I assume that's deliberate - the randomness.

Almost certainly. Wouldn't want people who already know how to work together on the same ship, now, would we?

Classic divide-and-conquer strategy, though why they bring so many of us from the same galaxy in the first place is a little baffling.

Of course, if you buy the holo-drama theory, I suppose it makes a kind of sense. Bring a bunch in who know each other, or at least know of each other, then separate them. Maximum drama?

[ Hera isn't a terribly dramatic person, though. ]

Then build ships with no hyperdrives so they can't make an easy getaway.

That goes without saying. Though a getaway attempt could also be very dramatic, I suppose.

[ She sighs. ]

I have enough drama in my life lately. Having a couple adolescents aboard - no offense - was plenty for me.

[ She smiles faintly at the young woman - she can see the older Ahsoka in her, in a weird way, though she is quite different from her counterpart in Hera's present. Still, at least they have some common ground. ]

Has anyone successfully located the Marsiva's bridge?
