[ As promised, in a few days time, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan make their way to the markets. They dress warmly, Obi-Wan procuring a thick cloak for himself. It's hard to feel like a Jedi Master without one.

He watches as Ahsoka flits from stall to stall as he lingers behind her, to correct her on her "bargaining" technique. In a way, they resemble a teenager, saddled with a wiser all-knowing uncle. He strokes his beard in light amusement. This is probably what he needed right now, a reassessment of his priorities, the here and now. ]

Even then, I'm not sure I'd take it. I wouldn't exactly know how to get back to Earth.

[The other rub: he's not sure which Earth would be his.]

If you travel for long enough, eventually you've gotta find someone who has a decent star chart.

You'd think. One of my friends is working on a star chart, but he's had to come up with it from scratch.

[Not that Stefan knows a lot about it either. Astronomy's a bit beyond him.]

If there's a chart, either no one's found it, or no one's willing to share it.

Well of course-- they keep dumping us on these backwater planets.

[Trying so hard to fight back a laugh here,] So what does a not-backwater planet look like?

An actual city would be a start.

And speeders. Star charts. Blasters. At the least.
