So, folks, I woke up to find that my fleet of cleaning droids suddenly doubled. All of them need names- I only have Cameron, Robocop and Leopardon so far. Got any suggestions? I'm a big sci-fi fan so I'd love to name all of them after famous robots, but I'll take anything.

There's no sense in being cruel, even to a machine.

If you never wipe their memory core, a lot of them do become sentient over time.

I agree. Machines perform useful functions for us, so I'd not want to be cruel to them.

This is true... and I don't trust Atroma, frankly. They might well get bored and give the droids sentience some day.

It's hard to trust a kidnapper with dubious motivations, I don't blame you.

But having sentience isn't necessarily a bad thing.

True. It'd be nice if they were able to tell me what they needed or wanted and that kind of thing. We could work together as an awesome... janitorial team.

Do they not use Binary?

Technically only machines can speak it. But you can learn to understand it at least.

I'll add that to my ever-growing and never-shrinking list of things I want to do.

It certainly does help with sentient-droid relations.

Hmmm- I might bump it higher on my priorities in that case.

Good luck. I haven't heard any droids speaking it yet.

It still couldn't hurt to learn, though.
