Who: Sansa Stark and anyone.
Broadcast: Video. Fleetwide.
Action: Find her on the Blue Fish, if you like.
When: Midday.
[ by all accounts, sansa stark has survived. she now lives on an armoured ship. her brothers are nearby -- alongside one brother's devoted friends, who have all been more kind to her kin than she can put to words. although nothing so much as approaches normal, she's beginning to feel settled. stability creeps in from the corners.
and this allows her to ask a question of her fleetmates: ] Is there any means by which I might find spare cloth and thread? And needles, too, of course. The ships give us so much, but I'm not certain -- [ not certain they can give me these. she does not understand their magic, nor the purchasing power of her device. ]
I like to embroider. I should like to do it again, if I could. [ but without a handmaiden to bid fetch these things, she doesn't know how to begin. perhaps it's as simple as looking in the correct spot -- but she was never raised to procure or purchase anything in her life. ]

I was thinking I should get some needle and thread before we leave. You know, in case of rips in clothes and stuff. Maybe we could go look together?

gently: ] Looking is all well and good, but I'm afraid I haven't any gold.

Besides, I really know next to nothing about sewing and needles and stuff. I'd probably buy all the wrong things. Having someone who knows what they're on about would help me out!

she is quiet for a good few heartbeats. ] Mayhaps it wouldn't be so awful to look, at least.

Do you have a coat? It's pretty cold down there.

Could you -- [ a sigh. ] Would it be so inconvenient if you met me on the Blue Fish, instead?
[ she's never taken a shuttle alone, before. and she doesn't plan on starting now. ]

[Ahsoka looks a little surprised for a moment, but then she feels like kicking herself. Of course she'd want accompaniment-- she's not used to space, remember? Way to be inconsiderate, Ahsoka.]
No, not at all. See you soon, then?

and when one arrives, she rises to her feet. her toes are booted. her shoulders cloaked. sansa even wears the gloves she arrived with -- having come here well-kitted out for a westerosi winter. ]
Welcome. [ her voice feels small even as it lifts above the background noise so she might hail ahsoka. ]

She waves at Sansa enthusiastically when she spots her and hops out of the cockpit.]
Hey! You all ready?

the hood can be overlooked. she's merely happy to spend time with someone who doesn't send her (immediately) into suspicion. ]
Completely. [ sansa approaches the shuttle -- few of words, but (for once) smiling. ]

[ Ahsoka gets herself resettled into the pilot's chair and does up her seatbelt. Then she looks over at Sansa. ]
Don't forget to strap yourself in. [ She says it casually, like she'd remind anyone else. She doesn't know if Sansa knows about seat belts, but she doesn't want to embarrass her by asking, either. So she starts the launch sequence again, hitting a complex series of buttons and then pulling the shuttle gently up for a slow take off. ]
You ever been in one of these before? [ Ahsoka grins as she says it. ]

[ although she demonstrates a rather encouraging enthusiasm for the trip itself, sansa can barely conjure more than a few polite words at once for their conversation. perhaps it's the nerves, tightening in her stomach and making her throat constrict. ] I -- I don't like to sail alone.
[ sail. it's an easier word than fly. ]
no subject
That makes sense. I mean, you'd never been in space before you came here, right?
You do get used to it.

[They draw nearer to the planet, and Ahsoka's careful to put the brakes on as they enter the atmosphere.]
Hey, do you want to see something cool?
no subject
she thinks (mayahps) that ahsoka means the planet. the planet is, undeniably, quite cold. ]
Yes. [ she hesitates. ] Please.
no subject
Hang on-- nearly there.
[She takes them down through the clouds again, and a sight that was barely on the horizon before is now a breathtaking vista before them-- an icy mountain range panorama, a beautiful ancient temple on one of the peaks, and an icy frozen lake beneath it. Ahsoka comes here sometimes to meditate, but the sight takes her breath away every time. She doesn't even say anything, she just takes it all in. She's not fond of the temperature on this planet, but she has to admit... the nature here is beautiful as it is merciless.]

she is pale. and only a little queasy. ]
2/2
it's as if the north and the vale had crashed together, leaving behind the better bits of both. ]
-- It's beautiful. [ she whispers. ]

[Ahsoka does a slow circle around the mountains-- eventually they need to turn back, after all. But this is a nice way to see the whole view.]
no subject
but this? this is like flying. her heart begins to settle. slowly, she unhooks her fingers from her chair. ]
I don't mind the cold. [ her voice stays soft. ] Some days, I think I like it.
