[Contrary to popular believe, the Pathstone isn't THAT useless. Yes they can go months without an upgrade and sure they're kind of a mess at the best of times, but they still function!

Most of the time. Flying sideways in space is all about perspective anyway, and they haven't done a barrel roll in like... well probably awhile.

[Thanks to the augment, he knows that word means. He stores it away in the same, warm fuzzy place he keeps with Allen, Alex and Ino's 'uncle Crowley's', with tender moments with people who mean the most to him in the world. A cherished place.

Outwardly, he just huffs, rolling his eyes, mostly unseen, behind his shades. ]

Yeah yeah, don't make a big deal out of it or anything.

[That gets a small smile from her, one that's rare these days, as she flexes her hand to see if she's still got a full range of movement in it. She does, and she's not surprised.]

And here I thought I was doing exactly that. I could hug you if you're trying to tell me you'd rather I did make a scene.

[She's even stepping forward, like this is some giant threat. Watch out Crowley.]

[Crowley grimaces, raising his hands and stepping away. Ew. ]

Don't you dare. You know I'm deathly allergic.

I have healing potions, you'll live.

[Because she knows him well enough by now, Jove knows she can reach for those hands he's holding out to keep her at bay and grasp his wrists, drawing his arms open and hands in the vague area of behind her without actually forcing him to hug her. She does that herself, arms wrapped loosely around his waist as she gives him one careful squeeze.]

[Crowley doesn't exactly pull away from her, but he does keep his arms raised. That means this isn't a hug, right? Because it's technically not reciprocated, right? He lets out a long, distressed groaning sound. Like a kid having their hair brushed ready for their first day back at school. A necessary tedium. ]

Are you done yet?

[She laughs, for the first time since she woke up alone without Cullen's arms wrapped around her, and steps back once again.]

I had to thank you for fixing my hand, didn't I?

[He knows, and notices, and that gets a smile. It's a sardonic one, but there's some genuine happiness under it all, somewhere. ]

And you did that by assaulting me? I see how it is.

[She's tempted to lean up and kiss his cheek for good measure, but she'll save that torture for another time.]
