Oh, hello. I think I've done this thing right.

[A youngish red head was looking around herself, the interior of the ship clear in the background. She's in some hallways somewhere.]

Well, this is a bit sad to say but, can anyone direct me to the labs? Sorry, I should introduce myself first. Lily Evans here, I guess I'm your new lab support personnel. Blimey if I know what all that entails but, I was always a fair hand at potions.

Right, well then if anyone could be so kind, pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Oh did you now? Then you know a great deal about your book about Fantastical Beasts. Fascinating.

It was one of our school books, yes. are you interested in exotic animals?

My dear Lily - if I might be as so bold to call you that - I am interested in everything.

It's what my friends call me, so I would rather like it if you did, and if you like that book we need to talk about magic!

So Lily it shall be. [He smiles at that, before giving her a slight bow.] I shall be happy to discuss it. So Hogwarts ... what was your favorite class?

Potions. [She replied without hesitation.] But I also enjoyed charms quite a lot.

[tallasaking]

Potions? What kind of potions? And although you are charming ... how can charms be something you can study? [He tilted his head with a thoughtful expression.]

[gifted_witch]

All kinds! Love potions. luck potions, sleeping and waking potions, hovering potions, ones for transformations, for swift speed, for blurriness...oh more than I can say really.

[Congratulations Tyrion, you made her blush, rather fetching on her fair skin.] Charms are a sort of incantation that stays with a person or item. It's like an enhancement to it. I could for instance make a lock unpickable or fire undousable.

.... does those work for anyone who does not have magic? [Because honestly that sort of alchemy was unbelievably useful.]

[It is quite fetching! Oh, she is a delight.] Well that must be a useful skill.

Yes, that is part of the reason behind the rules and laws of magical people. So they don't give muggles, that is nonmagic folk, things that will cause them trouble. But I don't see the harm in helping someone if you can.

[She tucked some deep red hair behind her ear and managed to suppress the blush.]

It is ever so useful, I put a charm on a key chain for my dad, he was always loosing them now when ever he whistles they whistle back and he can find them.

Well if you ever come up with a potion that will help me fly, or become tall and handsome, do let me know.

[Now that was an incredibly useful talent.] I can see why you will be a useful addition to us all, Lily.

I could make a flying potion, but brooms are far easier really. Flight magic can be a bit dodgy. And I think you're already handsome and it would be a pity to change that. As for tall, I've known towering people who did not meet my shoulders and pitiful ants who stood far above me. It's rarely a measure of a person.

[It wasn't flattery, surely it could be flattering, but it was said with simple honesty.]

[Oh now this is a delightful little change of pace.] Yes but can we normal mortals fly brooms? [He laughed a little at the compliment.] Well, if nothing, you should make a potion for your eyesight. However, I do agree with the height equation. I have known many of the same.

[And he knew it to be true, by those true green eyes.]

Then we shall become friends.

If you can find me charming I can find you handsome, that is always in the eye of the beholder.

[Lily laughed and smiled brightly.]

I sincerely hope we will.

[tallasaking]

[His lips twitch up at that. Oh well played my Lady Evans. He tipped a bow to her.]

Then if I find you more charming, does this mean you'll find me more handsome?

[He grinned at her, true to his name, impishly.]

So how are you finding ... space?

[She's a bright one, but also sincere.]

That we will have to see, I have to have some vanity now don't I?

[That was a wonderfully wicked smile and it made her laugh rich and deep from her belly, she had to cover her mouth as she did so and it took a few moments to pass enough for her to speak. Her words were still peppered with the lilt of amusement even then.]

Large, cold and strange. Hmm not unlike Vernon now that I think if it.

We all must have some vanity, my lady Lily. Some of us keep it to our minds, however.

[And other regions, but that was for cruder company than he was currently keeping. Beyond the fact that she laughed in a way that was utterly delightful - ah women, his true weakness.]

... Gracious, Vernon sounds terrifying. Also, bloated.

[Beware Tyrion, you are quickly developing a fan.]

He is! And he has the most dreadful mustache, reminds me of an angry walrus.

[Gracious, whatever is he going to do with one of those? Now he is the one laughing.]

I haven't a clue what a walrus is, but I am guessing it looks something like a sack of skin with a bushy bunch of facial hair?

Just so! [She chuckled and then thought better of it.] Oh! Hang on, I'll show you!

[She drew out her wand and whispered something faintly and began painting with light from the end. The light resolved itself into a rotund sea dwelling mammal with bushy bristles. It faded quickly but it was a decent representation. Simple spell but a useful one.]

[tallasaking]

[Now watch as Tyrion's well-guarded expression melts into wonder as she shifts the light into a creature that - if it looked anything like Vernon - would probably meant that Vernon certainly was a ... fellow who could stand to eat a little less venison.]

...Your sister has questionable taste, Lily. [Is his response, finally.] I trust you have more discerning tastes?

I think so, but he does truly seem to love her and make her happy so who am I to tell her otherwise?And when would I, we rarely talk anymore.

Aaaah, I have the same sort of relationship with my own older sister. Of course we have loathed each other since I was old enough to understand the concept -- so it is probably drastically different.

[gifted_witch]

I loved Tuney, we were hardly ever more than a room apart most of our lives. But when she found out I was a witch things changed. She called me a freak and couldn't be far enough away from me.

[tallasaking]

[He looked down for a moment, before looking back up at her.] I hope you realize that is her loss, Lily, not yours. She has missed out knowing how truly special her sister is.
