Oh, hello. I think I've done this thing right.

[A youngish red head was looking around herself, the interior of the ship clear in the background. She's in some hallways somewhere.]

Well, this is a bit sad to say but, can anyone direct me to the labs? Sorry, I should introduce myself first. Lily Evans here, I guess I'm your new lab support personnel. Blimey if I know what all that entails but, I was always a fair hand at potions.

Right, well then if anyone could be so kind, pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

[Lily, always ready to show friends things at school, took her wand out of her back pocket. Since there were no restrictions here she could be safe enough to preform a charm or spell.]

Well there are some basics, like lumos [The tip of her wand illuminated like a bright flashlight]

Like I said, that's just basic stuff. You learn that and levitation and such year one. There is so much you can do! Fetching things is a handy trick!

Hunting with a bow isn't basic to me, but I'll wait until I know how this place react to magic before I try anything fun. [potter hadn't though, had he? What harm could one little spell do? Lily Held out one hand, palm up and whispered a strange set of words, a small blue flame popped out of the tip of her wand and rolled into her pal,, burning quite merrily without any apparent pain to her.] Hand held flame, another handy trick.

I could think of one or two uses for that.

You can conjure water, summon things, banish things, protect yourself or others, change the way things look or feel or sound! I was just getting really good at transfiguration, which is turning things into other things.

I wish my sister would have seen it that way. [She prodded the flame with her wand and it smothered away to nothing.] I love magic, it's full of possibility. She just thought it made me a freak.

She doesn't have magic?

[gifted_witch]

No, I'm the only witch in my family that I know of. She wanted to go though, she wrote a letter to the school and everything. But she was so angry with me after that, we sort of fell out.

I'm sorry to hear that...

Me too. [She shrugged but tried to bolster herself with a thin smile, thin but still it was something.] I keep thinking that maybe in time it'll blow over. We were so close when we were younger and I don't want to lose that.

Yeah... I can't imagine falling out with my sister.

I hope you never have one.And, just from what I've gotten to know of you already, she's lucky to have you.

Home should be the place you feel safe, warm and comforted. Otherwise being other places can be better for you.

Yeah. If she shows up here, we can both go back to Stiles' world.

Has anything bad happened here while you've been here?

Not really, no. There was some... I don't know, kind of invasive magic stuff. And we had to fight off some other ships, but nothing bad.

Things are getting worse back home too, there's a war looming. People will get hurt, innocent ones, that's what worries me.

I'm sorry to hear that. Violence is escalating at home for me, too.

Too much power in the hands of too few and with bad intention. [It was a recipe for violence throughout history.]
