Because this place isn't creepy or anything, the camera is zoomed in on the sleeping face a purple woman. Eventually, she stirs in her sleep, than sits up in a daze and looks around in mild confusion.

"Wha? This isn't the temple."

She mainly sounds sleepy and bored, more than panicked or confused. She climbed out of the bunk and wandered around, the camera following discretely, and scratched at herself sleepily.

"Garnet? Pearl? Steven? Where are you guys? Where am I, for that matter?"

Yup, Amethyst sure is raking in those ratings right now guys. Just...give her a minute.

Yeah, he should've known she was some kind of purple gem... but then again, Clay's not really well-versed in crystals either.

"Ha, the cool one, got it. I'll keep that in mind!"

But now, on to other thing, such as where exactly she is and all that. "So," he starts as he rubs at his neck, "do you know anything about this place?" It was always so awkward, giving the rundown to new people. Surprise, you've been kidnapped for reality TV! Who wants to hear that from anyone?

"Steven explained it. It's weird but it sounds kinda fun, y'know? It's like a big game."

And she was going to play to win.

Huh. He's never seen anyone with that kind of attitude regarding this place before. It's kind of refreshing to see! And hey, he's kind of glad he doesn't have to be the one explaining things. Clay's had to do that several times now, and it's never easy.

"That's a good way to look at it!" He gives a thumbs-up of approval at that. "It's been my life's mission to travel through space, so this isn't so bad for me either! I mean, I could live without the reality TV part, but..."

"Probably didn't imagine it would be like this, huh? Ehhhh?"

She'd be nudging you with an elbow if you were here in person.

And he ends up laughing at that, just - the way she said it, and he can just imagine that nudging happening. Okay, yeah. He definitely likes her.

"Not like this at all!" He grins, though it grows softer as he goes on. "Still, I kind of like this opportunity. I'm answering so many questions that I had, that my home planet had, and exploring more than I ever thought I could. I know I shouldn't be too happy to be here, and I do miss home. But I am pretty happy here."
