[Oh, wow, visitors! She offers a very bright smile, wandering over. She's cleaned her clothes for the day, and her yellow dress is looking very nice now, very clean like it had been when she sailed with the Sun Pirates.

Miss Leia, is that you? Are you here to visit someone?

[Koala's smile looks a little more genuine today than it did back when they first spoke. Leia's hoping, anyway.]

It is, Miss Koala. [Look, if you're going to "Miss" her...] I thought I'd stop by and see how your ship was doing--so I guess that means I'm here to visit you. How have things been going?

Me? [She's very much shocked by this.] Things have been okay! I've been treated very well on board this ship. Mr. Solo gave me an apple earlier, and someone left me sweets in my room! I-I don't know who... I'm still worried they accidentally mistook my room for someone else's...!

Yes, you. [Leia laughs a little.] It's good to hear you've been having a nice time with your crew.

I have a feeling they had the right room. If someone left you sweets, you must have been kind to them.

[She's embarrassed at the idea. Someone gifted her? She certainly didn't comprehend when the fishmen gave her her dress and haircut; she definitely can't comprehend it now!]

They didn't have to do that... but — I appreciate it very much!

She hid the plate under her bed for a night because she was worried the empty plate would get her into potential trouble. But hey, nobody's come forward complaining of their gift falling into the wrong hands...]

I don't think I should... I wouldn't want to complain! I could never!

[One so secret that she bends down to tell it, her voice dropping a little.]

I know what it's like when you can't complain about things. The trick is to find someone you know won't let anything slip. [Or to complain anyway, but that's a choice that has to be made judiciously--and it doesn't seem Koala's speed.] So if you want, we can be secret complainers.

[Ah... But can she trust Leia? She seems so nice, so kind... The nobles never really seemed very nice. Sometimes they'd feign mercy, but that is hardly the same thing. She blushes at the thought of having someone to confide in.]

Secret complainers... I wouldn't want to get you into trouble! Being so secret, it seems like it would be a bad offense.

Oh, I'd only get in trouble if I was at home.

[She smiles conspiratorially at Koala.]

You and I are allowed to say whatever we want here. But sometimes it's nice to know who you can talk to.

Okay. I will accept being one of the secret complainers!

[Her idea of complaining will be... weird, probably, but it's something!]

[Everyone has to start somewhere, right? And the fact that Koala's smile has started to look a little more genuine to Leia, at various moments, is an improvement itself.]

Next time I get into an argument with Han, I know just who to come to.

[NOT REALLY--Koala doesn't deserve to be stuck with Skywalker drama in any form--but she figures it's a good example of things that can be complained about.]
