[The appreciation of peace and quiet that came with being on the fleet lasted for about all of one day. Now it's just hard to be away from the crew.]

[ She smiles faintly at Kanan. ]
I'd say we should try to get transferred to the same ship but I think they're all pretty full right now.

But yeah, I have no idea if anyone on my ship would be interested in switching, either.

[ She rubs the back of her neck thoughtfully. ]
This timeline stuff has been giving me a headache. How are you holding up?
[ Of the two of them, Kanan's the one most affected by the presence of so many other Jedi - from the past, maybe even from the future, for whatever that's worth. She knows of some of them, vaguely, but it's Kanan with the emotional connections. ]

... I'm fine. It's been a lot to handle at first, but I think trying to keep it all in was a mistake. Plus, it's not easy trying to conceal everything all the time.
[He's done way too much of that already just trying to live out in the Outer Rim. It could be refreshing not having to do that here.]

I'm not sure it's good for you, either. Besides, I'm not sure what good hiding it all would do. It doesn't work for long, and I'm pretty sure at this point the Empire is far away from here.
Not that I'm planning to blab all of our battle plans or anything, but...
[ She hesitates for a moment. ]
Maybe it's a good thing, to have some other Jedi here?

There's still a lot I never learned. Anything I can... [He runs a hand through his hair.] Well, I might as well make this worth our time. Ezra deserves to learn everything that he can.
[It would be selfish to let his own personal feelings get in the way of his own training and thus, Ezra's in turn.]
no subject
Sure. Though, I guess I'm thinking more of you right now. [ Maybe this could help him resolve some of his own feelings about the Jedi. Is that selfish? She doesn't think so. ]

Possibly. I mean, on one hand, I agree that if he's alive in our time we definitely need to be seeking him out. On the other, I'm not sure exactly how this time stuff works here.

[So... any knowledge they could take from this, then it might just be worth it.]

[ It almost completely escapes her that they're talking about Obi-Wan less like he's a person and more like he's a potential resource to exploit. At this point, the strangeness of it barely even crosses her mind. It's how she first sized up Kanan, after all, and everyone else on her crew. ]
I still wish I hadn't told him what happens. I feel bad about that.

No, it's probably better you did. Spending all that time having to hold it back wouldn't have been fair to any of them.
[Now that this is done, he can treat them as people... and not shadows of the past to be pitied.]

But emotionally it kind of stinks. Being the one to drop that on him. Being the bearer of bad news.
[ It's part of her job, sometimes, though, and she does it. She'd rather do it herself, ultimately, than make anyone else do it. ]
