Who: A ~mysterious anonymous poster~ and you
Broadcast: Anonymous text
Action: In her room on the Bishop, if you really want to say hello
When:
[It's taken Nightingale a while to figure out how to make the anonymous text function work, and even longer to decide it's worthwhile to post. Still, she doesn't have anything else to do, and this has been eating at her for a while...]
I realized recently it's been over a year since I was last home.
Over a year since I've ever seen anyone from my world, even.
And that year has been kind of a mess.
Now I'm two crazy worlds removed from home, and it's not looking like I'll get to go back anytime soon.
It's just now really starting to sink in.
I'm starting to get homesick, I guess.
But I know there's a bunch of people here who have been here even longer than I have.
Or have a lot more pressing things to get back to.
So... How do you cope?
How can you deal with this for so long?
After this long, my usual distractions aren't really working so well anymore.

Voice; because sorry he can't type with hooves
[Sometimes, he feels homesick, but it's more for his own kind than it is for Equestria itself. Equestria's a pretty shitty place what with the near-constant border attacks and whatnot. At least there isn't some horrific monster trying to destroy his world's existence ever other month here. ]
I travel a whole lot. When we hit new planets? I just pack light and travel the planet for a while, meet new people, learn new things. That helps a lot.

It's comforting to know I'm not alone there.
I did a lot of visiting weird places at home, though.
It was sort of my hobby.
It makes it a little harder to enjoy that here, in this kind of a mood.

Hmmm, you got a point.
Maybe try to do some things with your crew? I mean, if you got a good one, you can get a real sense of family there. It makes everything a little more bearable, having people around you can feel comfortable with.
...
And yeah, I know the deal with places like this. That they could vanish in a second, but that's why you gotta make the most of it while you can.

I don't know about that.
My crew is nice, but I don't know how close they'd consider me.
I'm not really good at talking to people, after all.
Yeah. I had a couple people I knew from before, when I got here, but they're gone now, too.

Oh.
[NOT LIKE HE HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THAT OR ANYTHING LA LA. ]
Well, maybe suggest a game night or something? You know, a team bonding night, where everypony just hangs out and has fun together. Pretty sure that's how it's supposed to work?
[He's only got the basics of Remedial Friendship worked out atm. ]

I barely know half of my crew.
Wouldn't it be weird to ask for something like that?

There's no good answer.

[He honestly hasn't got a good answer. Even now, he's still as lonely as he was as a foal. He's just learned how to talk to others better to mask it more. ]

They do like the entertaining thing.
