That's probably a really good idea. Katara's already pretty mad. I'm avoiding her for at least twelve hours, and it's only that short because I'm related to her and have a family obligation to not hide from her forever.

It's a rite of passage, but people outside the Southern Water Tribe who do it can become honorary members of our tribe.

It is! But it's really fun, too. You get a mark on your forehead at the end, depending on what your best strength was while you were sailing. I got the Mark of the Wise.
