[Daenerys hadn't even had fortnight to settle in, to take in the situation she's found herself in. One moment she was in the almost safety of Drogon's company and the next she was surrounded by Dothraki. Now? She was.... looking at a strange speaking device? She learned enough that people could communicate with it, but not enough right away on how to do so herself. It takes her a moment to figure it out and when she finally does, her violet eyes are still wide with concern on the video feed. Once she realizes it's working, she tries to go for a more calm and assertive outward appearance.]

To think that such a place would be capable of stealing so many from their homes. I can't imagine the ransom they'd be seeking. I wish to speak to whoever thought it wise to attempt such a feat and if any others can provide valuable information, mayhap you'll receive a reward from me in return.

[Mostly her eternal gratitude, given that she had little else on her person in the way of money. Carefully, she tucks a stray silver lock behind her ear. She wanted to ask where Drogon was and yet she knew outright asking her captors where they'd taken her dragon might be too foolish of a thing to attempt.]

I have never easily betrayed anyone's kin - much less my own. Until they have betrayed me.

[Which they had done. Most prodigiously.]

As for what I have to gain -- let us first consider what you gain.

[He folded his hands in front of him, arching one golden eyebrow at her.] Rest assured, my lady, you are a strong woman with the presence of mind to back your plays -- but you lack something that I have cornered the market on.

[She listens to what he has to say though she scarcely wants to believe that he's being honest. His family betrayed him and.... what? Did he expect her to just take him in? What did her claim to the throne help him with? At the very least that's what she imagines he wants to do - help her.]

Is that so. What would that be?

[Sure, making grandiose promises to give others gifts for information might have been a bit much but she's learned well what men with coins in their pockets want - more and always more still.]

[He looks at her quietly, and intently, his finger pressed together as he stated quietly.]

A perspective from the one place you have never had any information out at all. Someone who knows how they think, what they think, and how you can gain what you truly want -- even though I would advise avoiding it for the simple reason that you have everything you want right where you are.

[He arched an eyebrow at her.] Surely there was a question you have always wanted to ask, that you could never get from your friends Ser Baristan Selmy and Ser Jorah Mormont.

You wish to answer my questions and give me information? Does that mean you plan to advise me as well?

[She still can't decide if he was worth the risk in trusting, but clearly he wouldn't be offering for nothing. She can't disguise the deep frown when he mentions Ser Jorah. His betrayal still hurt and part of her wished she could have been as forgiving to him as she had of Ser Barristan. The other wished he'd died when she had sent the both of them on their suicide mission.]

I should hope, if that's your intent, that you'll be a bit less inclined to stabbing me in the back.

[A subtle jab at his brother betraying her father? Maybe not the nicest thing to say but it certainly wasn't a lie and she wasn't as mad as her father had been near the end, or so she'd been told. Looking on it now, she knows Viserys had that madness in him too and the thought pained her.]

[He was just going to switch this to a private line now, thank you ever so much.]

Your Majesty, I'll offer you whatever you desire. Information, advice, a good reason to kill all the Lannisters, including me, as long as you follow through on murdering them all.

[He looked at her, with her luminous violet eyes and distrustful look on her beautiful face.]

I have no intention on stabbing you in the back, either. But please, do feel free to question me as much as you want. I already know quite a bit about your current operations ... and your lost nephew.

[Those same distrustful violet eyes are now wide with surprise. Surely he was lying? Rhaegar's children were both dead. The Lannisters had seen to that.]

Aegon is dead. Viserys was many things but he wouldn't lie to me about something like that. Your father had his head smashed against a wall.

[Tyrion looked at her, meeting her gaze evenly. He wasn't lying, and knew that she was looking for some sign of it.]

Aegon was switched out with another babe, and saved by one of Rhaegar's faithful knights in arms.

[She didn't want to believe it. Yet, what reason did he have to lie? Other than complicating her claim to the Iron Throne.]

And how do you know this? Who else in Kings Landing knows?

[He arches an eyebrow at her, before he stated simply and clearly.]

I am sure they are all very well aware of it at this point -- as he has currently taken his forces across the Waking Sea to try and take the throne. Which is better for you, for as a callow boy, he is not precisely what you need in a second husband. Or even a third.

And as for why I know ... when I was sent along to you via the Spider, we shared the same vessel.

[That was a conflict in itself. Of course others might contest his claim and yet she wanted to believe he was alive. She didn't know how to feel about no more being the last of the Targaryen line. She takes a seat, letting everything sink in.]

What would you have me do? Mereen is too unstable and if his claim isn't enough then he would expect me to rule with him to solidify it, I'm sure.

[Advise me.]

[Now this ... this is what he had sorely missed. A fine mind, one that could catch nuances and throw them right back at him in turn. He spread his hands wide on the table before him.]

What I would have you do is solidify your own claim before all others, and that means turning the unstable into granite, my lady Queen. Forget the Iron Throne for now -- you will be able to seat yourself on it in due time -- but first let us consolidate and build your power and influence. You hold one city -- but let us see if we can have you hold two. Then three.

Being here could pose a bit of a problem with that plan, I'm afraid, Lord Tyrion.

[She smiles ruefully, giving a flourishing wave to her surroundings to serve her point.]

Aegon may well be on the throne by the time we return - if they grow tired of us.

Well, then we can only hope they are going to take all the major players here. At least those who are still alive.

[One corner of his mouth lifted up into a faint smirk of his own.]

At any rate - you have good advice to take back with you, when you go. If not any time soon ... well. The pleasure of an intelligent person from home is never a bad thing to have, your Majesty.

[Now that earns him a genuine smile. She had enjoyed hearing of home from Ser Barristan but Tyrion would certainly know just as much to fill in the blanks.]

I suppose I'll have to let your reputation speak for itself, Lord Tyrion. I can't imagine it's all bad.

[Okay, maybe she's warming up to you, Imp. Good on you.]

I look forward to hearing more of your council if we might find ourselves aboard the same vessel.

[He smiled back at her, mismatched eyes glinting.]

My reputation is clearly speaking, and no, it is not all bad. In fact sometimes it is quite amazing.

[Well, he's charmed more chilly companions than you, dear Queen.]

I will look forward to advising someone with the quick wit and cunning to appreciate it.

I do have one more question for you.

[Having spoken to others in between messages to him, she's now become very aware of the presence of some members of House Stark - or at the very least, one Sansa Stark.]

How many others from home are here and can you name them to me? I don't want any further surprises. I've already been introduced to one of the Starks. If there are others I'd like to know. She seemed amicable enough, but if there is anyone here that is a threat to my cause, I'd like to be aware of it.

[Well, she kind of would like to avoid them??? No sense jumping to having them pushed out an airlock, though. The enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that. And if she can find some sort of common ground with Sansa Stark then all the better.]

There are two - one of the younger Stark boys whom is about as harmful as a baby kitten ... and Robb Stark. Robb Stark is the one true threat but. Yes. Let me just point out that we know something that he does not know.

[That makes her sit up straighter. What sorcery was this place made of?!]

[And well, she kind of saw it sort of in the House of the Undying, but she didn't make the connection to that.]

That I have not been able to determine just yet. They are somehow able to pull us all from different times, and places. They apparently can even pull those from beyond the grave.

I believe he is already gone, my Queen. Many have vanished before, and I have not seen him in many weeks ... so either he has gotten drunk and fallen out of an airlock, being no losss to anyone - or the Atroma have taken him away.

[Good. The fewer enemies the better.]

The Atroma seem more fickle than the people they mean for us to entertain.

It's entirely possible he was removed, so you might be able to come aboard safely.

[He tilted his head to the side.]

Which is why it is unlikely that we will ever see my sweet sister here.

[Because Tyrion would murder her the moment he saw her lying green eyes appear on his visual screen.]

If I ever see your sister here, she will sooner be pushed out of an airlock herself.

[Plotting murder together? Priceless.]

I can't even... imagine. This place is able to return people from the dead.

[Could she see Drogo again? Or Viserys? She isn't so sure she wants to see the latter, considering her husband had killed him with a pot of molten gold. He'd probably be incredibly angry with her.]

[Tyrion put one hand to his heart, and sighed happily.]

I am not entirely sure they are taken from the time that they are dead -- but some time before it.

[He imagines all the angry people who could come back from whence before he had them killed, or they tried to kill him. That could become ... unpleasant.]
