A few things.

There are a good number of fighters here or people otherwise trained in combat. I'm interested in observing people's abilities or training, or at least discussing what they can do. Spars could also be arranged if you want some exercise.

Secondly, I'll take recommendations for good literature available around here.

Finally, if you know how to knit or crochet then I'll offer you up to ten credits to watch you create something.

I'm not overly passionate about food. It's important, but that doesn't mean it's exceptionally interesting.

My Mentor never explained things to me. Or stuck around.

Oh... Well. Usually when you make a new vampire you either look after them or you get someone close to do it? And they teach you things like what you are, how it works. You call them your Mentor! [ And he....had none of that oops. Just a nice family of humans. ]

So you aren't born in the traditional sense, not as a vampire. I suppose that would make a considerable difference.

Yeah... I woke up pretty much alone, hehe. My Mentors were actually a bunch of humans so at first I thought I was still one of them! [ HAHA, SO FUNNY. Ha....haaa............. ]

Is it really such an issue to be something like that? It's just a different diet. I don't understand why it would become such an ordeal.

Well you do change a lot besides the diet. There's sunlight killing you, blinding you, being hungry all the time, being awake all night, teething... [ Let him just count things off on his fingers for a bit here. ]

You're describing physical changes, which are of a lesser impact.

Is there a rift between vampires and humans?

Well...we eat from them. They don't really like us? And a lot of vampires think of them just like food.

The ones that think of humans merely as a food source deserve that scorn, then, but it's idiotic to paint them all with the same brush.

It seems like it shouldn't be impossible to forge an alliance, but the same could be said of any two warring groups. I suppose it's mankind's nature to create conflict.

I guess so, haha. I can't imagine a lot of people would like being bitten for blood either though! It hurts! They probably can't help feeling nervous.

Pain's unimportant. Everyone should learn to deal with something like that sooner or later.

The psychological effect is likely harder.

To me it doesn't make much difference, so I'm the wrong person to apologize to. You do what you have to to survive, and in many ways it's no different than how humans act.

We consume the products of other animals without killing them; if you do the same then there shouldn't be a grand issue over it.

I just don't think you're so different to humans that it should be focused on by them.
