Hello! Well I've managed to make a few more cakes than I had thought and there's some food. It isn't necessarily fancy but it's pretty tasty. And it's all for anyone who would like to come over to the first Breath and share in my birthday.

Try the chicken, it's a little spicy but in the good way.

First Breath Mingle (really slow intro post)

The ship might be small, but it was warm and festive. Throughout was the smell of good food and sweetly scented cakes. Punch and tea were set out though if others brought something with more of a kick just keep it out of sight of the kids.

Lily is trying to make sure everyone has enough to eat and is having a good time. Occasional bursts of magic send up tiny fireworks and the odd shower of confetti.

Say hello to the hostess, get a bite to eat, enjoy some music from the enchanted bells hanging over in the corner, they do take requests!

[But she did receive it happily and bent to kiss his cheek for his thoughtfulness.]

The club had an underlying rumbling thrum of music. People were talking, laughing and yes dancing. Lily had reserved a booth near enough to the bar to allow Tyrion some space and yet sheltered enough for them to talk without shouting.

People watching was always half the fun and after her party with shipmates and others this was an exciting way to cap off her day.

He had never seen a spectacle like this before - most of the time since working in these clubs he was gone before anything really interesting happened. There were lights that glowed from the ceiling, there was mass revelry abounding. Certainly, he had seen feasts with this much ... mass drunkness and poor social choices, but these people seemed to want to move as much as they wanted to drink, and there wasn't a single dog in sight.

He sat at their table, carefully chosen by him which gave them the best view and yet, allowed them to speak to one another if they raised their voices just so, nursing something called whiskey. In red silk shirt and carefully fit black slacks, he felt a little more like a Lannister and a little less like this damned lost dwarf in the Seven knew where.

Beyond that, Lily was smiling, and happy, and that ...that was a gift he didn't mind being part of.

"Don't you look handsome?" Lily slid into the booth near him and nodded with approval. "You did say you had gotten some new clothing but I had no idea." She herself was in a festive pretty dress of light fluttery material in golds and and reds. It bared a youthful portion of skin but it wasn't near as showy as what some others wore, the server who came over to them for example.

A leggy brunette in shorts that fit her body and ended just shy of being scandalous leaned over their table to ask an order. She bared a pleasant eyeful from her top to go with that leg, enough that a man like Tyrion could feast with his eyes. Lily had promised to have him out for a night on the town so he was going to get all the treatment.

Lily ordered a soda, or what past for it here and paid for a first round for Tyrion. "So," She said after the server left. "What do you think?"

"I may look handsome, but you are lovely." Tyrion returned, with a little half bow, before he smoothed out his shirt just so. "I found that my other garments might not be considered appropriate for this time and ... well, place."

The leggy brunette gets an appreciative glance, before Tyrion politely put in for another drink. He did like his women tall, and of dark hair ...but he was tired of paid entertainment.

Still, she gets a crooked smile, before Tyrion looks back at Lily. "Of all this? Very ... festive. Ostentatiously so."
