Hey. [New Flooters, meet your resident weird-looking alien girl.] If you haven't met me yet, my name's Ahsoka Tano.
Starting tomorrow morning at 0700, I'm going to be holding regular guided meditation sessions in the Prayer Room for anyone who wants to learn. Lessons are free of charge and you don't need to know me or ask to come along. I'll be there every morning, so anyone can come as they please. [She figures that might help the anonymous person she promised to teach as well. They don't have to reveal who they are to her if they don't want to.]
I know it's early, but I thought early would be best so that those of you who have to go to work in the morning can make it. Plus, then you can start the day off on a high note! Meditation is a great way to help manage anxiety and stress. It's also proven to improve concentration and clarity of mind.
... In the evenings at 1800, I'll be holding some easy self defense classes in the Iskaulit gym, every Tuesday and Thursday. It's just basic stuff, like how to get away from different kinds of attackers. Don't worry if you think you're too small or not fit enough or whatever. There's a way for everyone.
It is a beginners class, but if you're experienced and want to help out, I'd appreciate any volunteers to partner up with people! Otherwise I'm going to be taking a lot of punches on my own, haha.
Anyway, that's all from me! Feel free to ask any questions, otherwise, hope to see you there.
ACTION:
[If you simply want to show up to one of Ahsoka's classes, just go ahead. She'll be where she said she'd be! You don't have to show up to the first class, you can handwave going any day of the week. Turn up to a full class, an empty class, it's up to you.
Also, if you have a character who would volunteer to help Ahsoka out with the self defense classes, feel free to just tag into any relevant top levels from beginners if they're relevant to your interests. Don't wait for me to match you up with people, in other words.]

As for teaching, Ahsoka seems to be mirroring the classes used to teach Jedi younglings how to meditate when they're very young-- before they have enough self discipline to meditate on their own. Her voice is soft and calm-- just loud enough to be heard without straining, but no louder. Gently, she guides the group with the breathing rhythm until everyone has settled down and into their own pace. Breathe in your tension, then breathe it out. In turn she talks slowly about mindfulness, about taking stock of each part of the body in turn. She guides them through the feet, the legs, the stomach, the chest, the arms, the hands, the back, shoulders, neck, head, etc, instructing to just notice where the tension is in each part, if there is any. To tense that section and then try to let it go.
She doesn't speak about the Force-- she knows that won't mean anything to most people here. But she connects with it in her own time anyway, in the space between when she talks. With each out breath, she tries to release her turmoil and confusion into the Force. Peace, knowledge, serenity, harmony. She says them in her mind like a prayer.
All up, it only lasts fifteen minutes-- it would be unrealistic to expect those just learning to keep their focus on meditation for any longer. "When you're ready, slowly bring your focus back to the room, and allow yourself to open your eyes when it feels right."
After opening her own eyes and thanking everyone, she looks up at Obi-Wan and smiles hesitantly. Like she's glad to see him, but also not sure if he's going to give her a grade or not.]

He can, however, offer a few compliments. ]
Well done. You've certainly improved a great deal.

[Not really. More likely it's because she suddenly has more to meditate on. During the Clone Wars, she never felt this conflicted and angry and confused-- except for perhaps when Obi-Wan "died." But no matter what, she was always convinced with a childlike black-and-white view of the world that what she was doing was Good, and she was doing the Right Thing.
It's hard to feel that way now.]

[ He's not interested in bringing it up. Yes, there are faint echoes of it still in his demeanor but overall, he looks . . . better. Less constrained, less embittered. As if Obi-Wan has gone through a major battle and come out with . . . well, not his usual litany of bruises, but fairly relaxed. ]
Well, it makes sense to put our time to good use.

Exactly. Besides... I kinda like teaching. It gives me something to focus on.
[Other than herself.]

That is the idea. I told Anakin once, before you arrived, that teaching was a privilege. It still holds true, no matter the age.

Let me guess. He didn't agree?

[ Obi-Wan is a firm believer in the "I Told You So". ]

[ He rubs his beard. ] But the process goes both ways. I certainly learned a lot from Anakin too.
