[Waking up in a place he didn't recognise, but knew instantly was nowhere like back home was unfortunately, a familiar feeling.

Waking up without his right arm, also, happened not to be an unfamiliar sensation. The fact that it had been healed, and all of his clothes repaired however, was as new for him as it was pleasant.

Naruto's understanding of the importance of his communicator, and surprisingly - the way it worked hadn't concerned him in the slightest, but it's several hours after his arrival on board the hospitality deck that he finally chooses to direct his attention to it. Fed, watered, and as clued up on what was going on as he could ever be without someone to direct his questions at left him here.

As soon as he starts recording his transmission, he gets right to the point. There's no familiar smile on his face, in fact - he looks bored. Fed up, probably. Their fight had ended, things were supposed to be getting better but now he's here.]

Know there's gotta be someone out there who can tell me what's up. Ain't Adstring, and it ain't Asgard. Who's controllin' everything? Who do we have t'fight this time? Why's it dark out. A guy called Madara didn't try an' steal the moon or something, right?

Atroma seems to be the one or ones pulling the strings. Haven't been here a week yet myself, so I'm still trying to figure out where we're at with enemies and escape plans.

Everyone who has been captured for this? Everyone you've ever known and loved? Everyone in the multiverse? [She shakes her head.]

You get here and you're on that ship—The Marsiva. The only other people with you are whoever has been abducted recently since the last shuffle. When it shuffles you'll get thrown out to one of the ships in the fleet which is where everyone else is if they aren't hanging out at the space station. Clear?

[They were like bffs without the-- best bit?]

Oh. I guess it really is like Adstring an' Asgard then, huh?

[Sad, but not sad. He'd come to enjoy his time away. Even if it came with it's uncertainties, but now! He has the word at his feet of course!]

It shuffles? That's weird. So... where are you? You on a ship or this Marsiva place?

I'm on the Windrose. I was shuffled pretty fast and kind of late apparently.

I don't know what Adstring or Asgard are. Unless you mean from Norse mythology. [Thor didn't show up in her slice of reality and neither did the Avengers for that matter to have a more rounded Marvel understanding of it.]

But if I was going to guess I'd say this kind of thing has happened to you before where suddenly you were in a new place that you couldn't leave that included a bunch of people from different worlds, times, and realities? [Because that was her experience and it doesn't seem uncommon here.]

That's a weird name.

Dunno what a norse is, but it was a pretty weird place. Both of them were. Kinda like this, I guess. Yeah. It's like this. People from-- all different places turned up there. No way to get back and all that.

[A sigh.]

I don't wanna be stuck here for ages. How long before you got on a ship?

Really fast for me. I don't think anyone waits more than a week, but the ship you're on is better. More space and higher quality food.

[He might need a moment whilst he bursts into laughter, looking back before perhaps it gets annoying??]

Wonderduck is one of the ships in the fleet. My last place was called Marina.

[A nod.] It gets worse. You should stock up while you're there.

Sure, why not? I think stealing from the people who abducted you is probably okay in the morality department.

Marina was a prison I was in before this place. It was underwater. [She doesn't really want to keep talking about names of things.]

[Yes. He has stopped walking. Completely.]

It wasn't a very prison-y prison, but yeah. You were there once too. A version of you probably.

I never went to prison.

Well. I dunno if he talked much to ya. He's er-- kinda quiet huh?

[She laughs softly. She got to be pretty fond of that ninja.] It was hard to miss. But we did talk.

[She's quiet a moment.] Is he dead in your time?

[He nods, only to stare at her when she asks that. So... she knows? Another huff, but he can't seem to look at the screen anymore.]

That sounds like Itachi. [He'd been blind and sick in the prison the first time he was there. She'd been there at the end... That end at least.]

Was he a zombie the second time?

He's pretty awesome, really.

[SIGH.]

Not like a-- slow-walkin' no talkin' zombie.

Face was kinda flaky though.

He was like that at the prison for awhile. [She was fond of referring to him as "my zombie ninja roommate." Itachi was very tolerant of it. Naruto gets some points for think he was awesome.]
