[ The young man that sits before the camera is clearly both agitated and frustrated. Don't ask him about how he's settling in; the look on his face tells the story well enough. Not only did he have a terrible first day, but he spent nearly an hour working out what this strange device's actual purpose was.

To make up for lost time, his message is short and to the point, heavily punctuated by his angry tone: ]

[ He might ordinarily be pleased to hear that, but he's gotten himself into this mess and he's going to stubbornly follow through with it. ]

Why should I answer to a captain at all, then? What good is the title if it means nothing?

Maybe you shouldn't. [She doesn't follow anyone she doesn't at least respect. Trust is harder.] But maybe you shouldn't have done this either.

What did this captain do to set you off anyway?

I was shown no respect when I arrived.

[ He's stepping around the specifics on purpose. It's embarrassing. Too embarrassing to admit to. ]

I find it difficult to believe that I am the only person who has ever voice my distaste for her.

In my experience you have to earn respect.
