'Much longer distances than earth' huh?
She took a couple steps away, if only to lean her rear against the edge of her lab table as she turned back to watch him.]
So I guess you're already used to this whole 'stuck in space' junk then?
no subject
Heh, considering I captain a space ship, yeah, I'm kind of used to the whole space thing.
[ He chuckles and smiles at her, sliding his hands in his pockets and leaning back against the door frame. ]
Not so used to being transported off my ship without my okay, though. But I think that goes for everyone here.

Everybody seems cool so far though.

I have to say this whole situation would be lot worse if the people weren't so welcoming. Well... most of them. That Fenris guy doesn't seem to have a right side of the bed to roll out of. But every ship has to have their grump, right?

[Like coming from shitty situations.]
So who're you anyway?
no subject
James Tiberius Kirk, captain U.S.S. Enterprise and I think your new engineer.
[ He stuck out his hand to her for a shake as an introduction. ]
no subject
Cool. I'm Chloe Price, and your doctor.
[So reassuring.]
no subject
[ No offense, Chloe, but he thinks he might keep his checkups to Dr. Beverely on the Blue Fish. ]
Doctor? Well, I guess this might be a good time to get you the list of medicines I'm allergic too. Just in case.
[ Because you never know and it would suck to die of an allergic reaction to something. ]
no subject
Way ahead of you.
[She'll turn away, pop open a drawer, and pull out...oh hey, a medical history form! Maybe she's not completely terrible at this.]
Just fill this out when you've got a few and bring it back.
no subject
[ He looks at the form, the few lines listed for allergies and looks back to here. ]
I'm going to need a few extra sheets. I... have quite few allergies.
[ None had ever killed him, but he also had been in the care of a doctor every time he took one. Damn it, Bones... Anything over a Tylenol could pose a risk for him. ]

Yeah, that might be easier, wouldn't it? I promise I'm really not a difficult patient otherwise.
[ God, you're such a liar Kirk. You're literally the worst patient to ever exist. ]
no subject
[Totally casual shrug. Is she joking?]
no subject
[ He doesn't mention that that could be potentially dangerous and also hilarious (not to him, but people who had seen him when he got snuck on the Enterprise... there were stories that came out over beer he really wished would just get buried, okay?). He had this bad habit of suffering nearly every side effect there was to a medicine. ]
Just promise not to give me anything that gives me numb-tongue or swollen hands.
[ He smirks though, joking with her. ]
no subject
Of course, you could just be a well behaved patient, and then we wouldn't have any problems, would we?
[That was almost flirty oops.]
no subject
Now where would be the fun in that? I take it upon myself to keep everyone's jobs interesting.
[ He grins at her, perhaps a little flirting back. ]
no subject
[She crosses her arms and smirks.]
Well I can do with a little excitement from time to time.
no subject
[ He crosses his arms in turn - challenge accepted. That's what this was, right? ]
Good thing I arrived then. Otherwise you might all die of boredom, and wouldn't that be a shame?
