Who: Logan
Broadcast: Fleet wide
Action: The Marsiva
When: Now!
MEANWHILE...
[He's a Canadian Bub and he just woke up on the Marsiva. With all the shit that he'd been dealing with lately trying to track down Romulus and deal with his demented son, he might have handled this whole being in space thing a whole lot worse. Instead the feed opens with Logan standing in front of the viewing bay with his hands in his pockets and a less than pleased expression written in his features.]
Damn. Space again.
[It wasn't like he went into space all the time, but he didn't especially enjoy it. He could be seen tapping the glass gently with the business end of one metal claw protruding from his wrist. Well, he sure as hell hoped there was someone around who was a better pilot in zero atmosphere than he was. Besides, at least he couldn't see Galactus out there.
Later when the feed cuts off, Logan will try getting past the visitor's area of the Marsiva by trying to cut a path through one of the walls with his claws. Unfortunately besides making some very unpleasant sounds, he doesn't seem to succeed in cutting his way through. Too bad.]

She pauses for a moment then adds:] Remy's from my world. He ain't X-Men, but he's alright. [Though how much any Logan who knows Rogue's history with Remy is going to take her at her word there remains to be seen...] My Kurt's here too. I'm sure he'll be chimin' in as soon as he sees your broadcast. He's... young.
[You've been warned.]
[ video - private ]
Though a young Kurt...]
We ain't talkin' toddler sized, are we?
[ video - private ]
Nah. We're talkin' 'bout 15. He's also... [How to put this delicately...] He ain't experienced much. [Screw delicacy.] Couple of normal X-Man things, but no war, nothin' really more traumatizin' than making the government's top most wanted for a spell. He's a kid.
[ video - private ]
[But age never did spare most of 'em. He hasn't forgotten all those young and fresh faces brought in each year to the team. Lately, it's been getting to be a little too much seeing kids that age trotted out for battle.]
[ video - private ]
Got some SHIELD agents here. Avengers too. [Though she has no idea if he'll know that second one, SHIELD is usually a pretty consistent thing.] Not from my world, though. Couple of repeats, even in theirs.
[ video - private ]
Avengers on the other hand...]
Avengers, huh? Which ones?
[ video - private ]
[That was an important qualification.]
Natasha Romanoff, Vision, an' Steve Rogers are all from one, an' I think Tony Stark's still around too. Then ya got Clint Barton from another. An' Jim Barnes from another.
[Lack of code names may indicate something, yes. And so does the fact she's even trusting you enough to talk about other people.]
Oh, an' Thor.
[Can't forget about Thor. She hasn't met Wanda yet, so no report there.]
[ video - private ]
That many Avengers an' this place ain't busted wide open yet?
[ video - private ]
No one's got the faintest idea where we are, or if there's even an Earth - any version of it - in this whole system.
[ video - private ]
[Not that this seems like one of those situations, but hell. You can never be too careful.]
[ video - private ]
No, no chompin'. Hardly any conflict at all. Got a random Other Fleet that comes around, fires at us for a bit, beats us, then runs off, but other'n that the only thing really dangerous is the lack off coffee an' the boredom.
[Ohgawd, the boredom, Logan.
And because she knows better:] So far, anyway.
[ video - private ]
[Not that he was looking to go back to Mojoverse anytime soon.
But... at least there were things to beat up.]
[ video - private ]
Can't figure that out myself. Most folks here are even nice.
[Who wants to watch a show about nice people? What is this, the 90s?]
[ video - private ]
[Nice people? In space? On a reality show?]
What happened to I ain't here to make friends bit?
[ video - private ]
[ video - private ]
[This sounds like retreading the same thing as with Kitty. It had been a prison for her.]
[ video - private ]
[How's that for a thorough description?]
[ video - private ]
[Because... the former would be pretty good right now.]
[ video - private ]
[Still slightly bitter over walking around with a giant vulnerability on her back for five years, thanks. It probably didn't help that her wings had been broken, shot through, and torn. The fleet was much better for her overall health, it seemed.]
[ video - private ]
[He thought that maybe it was just some general oddity of the world. But imagining Rogue with tiny Cupid wings... well, that was worth a chuckle cleverly disguised as a grunt.]
[ video - private ]
Everybody had the wings. [Grumbled:] Took me a month ta get my proper balance back after showin' up here.
video - private ]
[The important thing was that he never had to imagine himself with wings.]
[ video - private ]
[As it would tend to, but hopefully he'll be able to take that as code for Not a Lot of It Was Good and I Have Been Changed by the Experience without her having to go into detail.]
[ video - private ]
[His own team had all been put through their share of trials, but five years was a long time. It did a lot to define a person. It was something to remember anyway.]
You miss it?
[ video - private ]
People. My horse. Blue sky. Havin' somethin' ta do. [...] Not the experiments, or the war, or the barrier.
