[The newest member of the crew has taken to spending her time in the galley when not exploring the station. Today sees her on her back on the top of the table, looking up at the cat-shaped medallion in her hands. Since changing into a spare jumpsuit she can't wear it on her belt as she once did, so she's carefully inspecting the chain its on. She's already lost one medallion--losing another was not an option.]

[ Nova comes across the new member, feeling somewhat guilty for not catching her before. she slips into the galley and looks at the medallion for a moment before clearing her throat and speaking ]

That's lovely.

[ her tone is polite though restrained. ]

[Ciri doesn't sit up, though she does tilt her head back to look at Nova.]

It came with me from home. I suppose I should start wearing it around my neck so as not to lose it somewhere.

[Not that it helped much with her other pendant, but it sounds safer than sitting in her pocket or left in a pouch somewhere on the ship.]

Why'd you kill him?

He was a bounty hunter. A man that killed people I knew, people that didn't deserve to die horribly. [Not to mention he tried to kill her, too.]

[Furiosa's here for a meal, taking one look at her new crewmate sprawled out on the table and then shrugging and going to the pantry to pull out a can she's been stockpiling from the station. Tonight, it's beefaroni.]

Ciri, right? [It's by process of elimination, but with this influx she couldn't be too sure.]

[Ciri may have seen that strange can. Beef she knows, but that name was a little... deterring.]
