[ Nova has been making herself fairly scarce since the ship is over capacity. She's friendly enough (for her) when people engage with her, though. She mostly hangs out between her room and the kitchen, sometimes wandering around.

She's also been running things on the base station as a courier when she can, to pick up a few extra credits, which is probably notable. Feel free to catch her coming back from a run, or snacking in the kitchen (she's not very impressed with her options), or anywhere else aboard! ]

[It's been good to get some time away from the ship, taking whatever piloting and cargo jobs that she could get. Still, Furiosa makes it a point to be around at least some of the time in case her crew needs her. She continues to sleep on the bridge, comfortable enough in the captain's chair, and her little plant has been restored to the dashboard now that Max was feeling better.]

[She hadn't forgotten about her talk with Nova back over the ice planet, though, and she'd been thinking a lot about who she should have as second in command; things here may not be so dire as to necessarily be warranted, but she'd rather be prepared in a pinch if she was again rendered incapable by illness or some other means.]

[She opens a video feed closed to the members of the First Breath;]

Furiosa here, with an announcement as your Captain; I've made the decision to appoint Nova as my First Mate. If for any reason I am unable to do my duties, she's in command.

[A pause, a wry smile and a soft chuckle.] Not that we'll really need it here.

[The newest member of the crew has taken to spending her time in the galley when not exploring the station. Today sees her on her back on the top of the table, looking up at the cat-shaped medallion in her hands. Since changing into a spare jumpsuit she can't wear it on her belt as she once did, so she's carefully inspecting the chain its on. She's already lost one medallion--losing another was not an option.]
