So. I've heard it's February 14th. And how good of the Atroma to get me my very own monogrammed ship. Apparently it's the perfect gift for the girl who so recently had everything. [ tacky, much? kate kinda cringes every time she sees her family name on her assigned ship -- regardless of how coincidental it might be. ] Kate Bishop, reporting for duty aboard the SS Bishop. I didn't know anybody when I got here, so when they transferred me to the Paisley I stuck around. Most of the people on board are great.

Oh man, I'd love either of those. Mostly it's just synthetic flavours. Lemon, strawberry, pumpkin...

You can get it if you're lucky, but it's pretty rare. Back home you could just buy loads of it in stores. Here? Not so much.

Samesies. [ huff. ] And now just the thought of a chocolate shortage has me craving.

Want my advice? Now that you're off the Marsiva, visit the station. Get a job, rack up as much cash as you can, and stock up on snacks. We don't know where we'll head next, or what supplies they'll have there, so you gotta grab what you can.

I kind of got lucky- they gave me engineering, and that was already something I knew back home, so it was easy to get used to.

I don't doubt it. But last I checked, good cellos don't come cheap. And I'm new in these parts. Yet to make my mark and fortune in the world, or however the prologue might read.

They're alright for keeping you alive, sure. And some of the flavours are decent. But the texture is so bad. Nothing feels right! And don't get me started on the lack of variety.

I'm slowly working my way through every flavour combination that exists. There are some problems imagination just can't resolve.
