[Outwardly she's normal enough, just an elf that's trained herself to be more friendly than she'd usually be towards humans and people who appear to be human. Being the Inquisitor meant she had to set aside the typical Dalish mistrust of humans, and so far she's found the human men and women she's befriended to be entirely charming and wonderful.

And if there was name that would instantly put Mikleo in her good graces, it's absolutely Elize's.]

You came to see Elize? [Thank the Creators, Elize needs as many friends as she can handle.] I can show you to her room if you'd like.

I'd appreciate the help, thank you.

[Who knew that Elize was like an automatic keycard for an approval rating boost!]

[Elize is kind of amazing in that way. She motions down the hallway and then leads the way, but her attention is still on Mikleo. It's curious and admittedly very pleased, the way she's looking at him. Be friends with the daughter she ended up with, sweet spirit boy. Be friends with her forever.]

How did the two of you meet?

[He's sort of intrigued and confused about why she seems so immediately pleased by his presence, but he can't find a reason to question it just yet. Maybe he'll figure it out over time, maybe she'll tell him- it doesn't seem critical for him to know. After all of that malevolence, it's a very welcome change.]

She spoke with me over the communicator when I first arrived here. She was very kind, but shy, and I think I might have confused her. I don't talk to children much.

[He and Sorey were the youngest in Elysia, growing up, and none of the human children he'd encountered before could see him. Elize was really one of the first he'd ever had a conversation with.]

She sent me a message some time later, asking if I'd like to visit. She wanted me to meet a friend of hers.

[Jove had been worried that with so many of Elize's friends leaving that the girl might not reach out to make more friends, new connections to keep her time in the fleet from being as lonely as it could be without that kind of support. She had lost so many all at once, and with Cassandra gone now too it's good to know that Elize still has a network of friends to keep her strong.]

She is painfully sweet, isn't she? [Another reason to be glad there's someone looking out for her. There are plenty of people who might try to take advantage of the girl, and if Mikleo is one more in the Elize defense squad that's more points for him.] If I had to guess, I'd assume she wanted you to meet Cole.

[nerdeology]

I believe so, yes. She never mentioned him by name, just that he's a spirit.

She told you that?

[It strikes her as a little odd. Not bad, really, but she's surprised Elize would tell someone Cole didn't know what he really was.]

[nerdeology]

She did.

[He wonders if that's unusual. Cole is an odd person, but visibly human, so perhaps he's able to hide it from others? Cole hadn't struck him as someone who would conceal what he is, though.

Still, an explanation is in order.]

I imagine she told me because my kind resemble spirits. I'm a seraph.

[The word isn't immediately known to her, but she can get the picture and it does clear up a lot of her questions. She laughs, softly, and shakes her head.]

That would explain it, then. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with seraphs, but I suppose it would make sense for the two of you to meet.

[nerdeology]

Well, she wasn't wrong. It was a very... interesting encounter.

[Cole's a bit freaky, and Mikleo still doesn't know how to handle how he just- knows things, but it's pretty obvious that he means well.]

I should be asking about you, though. Apparently you're quite in-tune with spirits, yourself.

That's how you could describe my first meeting with him. He tends to be a very interesting young spirit.

[Instead of young man. There's the same kind of warmth when she talks about Cole that there was when Elize was the topic of conversation, her love for him just as obvious as the love she has for Elize. They're a part of the family the Inquisition had become, after all. They both have her undying support and affection.

When he asks about her, Jove smiles softly again.]

Surely I'm not as interesting as a spirit and an adorable little girl. Did Cole tell you anything about the Fade?

[nerdeology]

A little, yes. A place for dreamers, magic, and spirits. We don't have anything like that where I'm from, but it was all very interesting.

[A bit scary and dangerous, too, but the same could be said of nearly any world in one way or another.]
