It's taken some getting used to. Where I'm from we remain firmly on the ground and my living quarters were more spacious.

[And she had quite a lot more silks than she does at present. Hesitantly, she brings the juice towards her lips, sipping it before giving a look of pleasant surprise. It was sweet, as one would expect juice to be, and she liked the flavor. She'll continue drinking for now.]

The only thing we did with steel is used it to make swords and armor - not to fly.

[She's learning some worlds don't practice the horrible magic that had taken Khal Drogo from her, or had tried to take her dragons. It was a relief, but the word still made her uneasy whenever she heard it.]

There are many kinds. What are you familiar with?

Blood Magic, mostly, but I suppose other less lethal kinds.

I don't practice it myself. I'll leave that to those with more devious means.

[ So she is used to sinister kinds. ]

In Asgard we use it in battle, or to cast illusions, and shapeshift. A few of many uses. I could not tell you &mdahs; I am no sorcerer.

I can think fo far worse things than those to use magic for. Does it give you an advantage in the field?

[She would hope so, if they're going to the trouble of doing it in the first place.]
