[Koala's familiar, unnatural smile has appeared! She seems to be in her black jumpsuit and white tank -- though she's taken to Han Solo's advice and bought a blue dress for herself, which appears to be hanging up in her closet next to her yellow dress. And it appears there is a clown-fish shaped child's mug on her dresser, and a strangely ice-sculpted flower in a pot behind her (thanks, phantom person). It's not much, but it's still a far cry from her plain room from her first few weeks. And not only that, but a new revelation! She has a pillow with a cat on the pillowcase! GRANTED IT'S A VERY ODD CHOICE FOR AN ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD... but hey, progress! 

Still clean as hell, though. She's clearly just gotten finished with her chores, wiping her bangs out of her face. They've been growing out a little, getting in her eyes.]

I - I wasn't sure if I should say, before, but... That is, I wasn't sure if I would be punished for it, when I arrived here! But now I am trying to listen to Mr. Zuko and the others, and... and try not to think like a slave! So I will not stay quiet when I have questions! Forgive me if that is very straightforward of me. 

I was wondering, um. If you have a burn, and it is not... If it's healed, but it itches badly sometimes, what... should you do?

S--sometimes it is when I am working, but it can also be when I sleep; some nights it itches so fiercely, I have trouble falling asleep!

The first time it happened, I was not allowed to say anything, but... But now, I think I can.

... I'm allowed to, right?

It's okay to ask for help for such a thing, right?

It's... very uneventful in the kitchens now. It makes Koala a little sad, to think about Undyne's departure. She hopes she's okay, wherever she is...

When she notices Nami, though, she smiles brightly, putting down her sponge and moving toward a small backpack; another small purchase?]

[There is no way she can reassure Koala about not caring about waiting without it sounding terrible, so Nami just smiles.]

Good! We can go find some cream for your back first, and then maybe some clothes and something to eat. [We're makin a day of it, kid. Or at least a few hours.] Does your crew know you're going off ship?

[She looks awed by the plan of the day, to be sure.]

All of that, today? But won't that be a lot of money?

I would like to be able to do my chores as efficiently as possible. And in order to do that, I'll need to be at my peak physical health! So Mr. Sasuke told me he would set up a very specific diet to help me, because I'm not very fit yet for such things...

Oh, just very specific, Miss Nami! No sweets or anything with, um... I can't remember all the words, but I think I needed protein and... there was something about bread... Someone gave me a sandwich but I couldn't eat it because it wasn't part of my diet!

I said I wanted to be stronger so I wouldn't be a bother, so I agreed to be trained by him! He said this was how I get better. Stronger!

[...seriously. She comes to a stop suddenly, then turns to crouch down, sitting on her heels in front of Koala.]

If this was your idea and you don't mind doing it, then that's okay. [Though she guesses she should probably go and meet Sasuke to get his side of what's going on.] But has anyone told you you're a bother?

Good. 'cause you're not. And don't ever assume you are! If someone thinks you're a bother, trust me; they'll tell you. [And be rude about it and then Nami will deck them, so. JSYK.]

But there's also nothing wrong with wanting to be stronger, so as long as you're happy with it and you don't think Sasuke's being mean about it, then it's okay. [You do you.]

So what are you allowed to eat?

I don't think he is... I mean, he always seems kind of mean, but I think that's just his normal face. [Tragic.] I can eat... um! Things with good stuff in it. Protein and vitamins and stuff like that! It's better than the way I ate before, when I was a slave... so I don't mind it! It's very easy. And nice!

[If it means getting stronger, sure man.]

So does that mean if we find you a healthy meal on station, you can eat?

[She stands again finally, offering her hand once more. Now that she isn't kneejerk considering violence against people with mean faces, they can continue on.]
