[There's a ~~Darth Maul cosplayer~~ tall and annoyed demon pacing back and forth, playing almost nervously with his hands like there's a ring that should be there but isn't.]

Another reality show? I thought the last one was bad enough.

[He stops his pacing to look up at the ceiling, seeming to direct his anger at that.]

Leo! Leo Wyatt! Orb your whitelighter ass down here and do something useful for once!

[He waits a moment before he throws up his hands in frustration and goes back to pacing.]

Great, fine. Alright, you've got me here. Point me at whoever or whatever you want me to kill so we can get this over with.

It is when you don't tell me when we get involved in a dangerous situation like that, Christopher! [...oh, he's definitely not pleased by this.] You put not only yourself but me into danger by not telling me your faults so we can work around them.

[ He stops. Completely cuts off, then crosses his arms and closes himself off. ]

No. We're not doing this. This whole network thing is public and I'm not having this conversation with you where everyone is going to see it.

[yeah he totally did. deal with it.]

Would you rather I call it a weakness because that's exactly what it is.

[Well, if Chris doesn't want to talk over this, then there's always another option.]

[ He has to stop himself again. Weakness is a sore spot, whether it be a physical failing or a mental one or one pertaining to his alignment. ]

[You know what? Fine, he's not discussing this right now and instead has a familiar expression on his face as he's trying to sense Chris.]

[He shimmers away to go talk to Chris in person

...and right into a wall. There's a loud thunk and even louder swearing and Cole has an energy ball out because this wall has personally offended him. And then growls at it and gets rid of the energy ball before acting like it never happened.]

I think we'll talk about this later.

[ Yep. Chris knew this would happen so he ducks his head and grins to himself and that helps a lot. Seeing his dad hit a magical wall face first is exactly what he needs right now with tensions running high. ]

Yeah, I thought so.

[ Ahem. ]

You know you've still got your game face on, right?

[If Cole was anyone else, he'd pout and be annoyed by this, but he's not so he's just pretending nothing happened because he totally didn't shimmer into a wall, okay.]

I thought I was still in something like Witch Wars.

[And he shifts back into his human form and rolls his shoulders as if to fit himself back into it.]

I can tell now that this isn't the case.

No. I mean, it's another reality show, but no. They're more like competitions over stupid things than killing people.

Except this one doesn't even seem to have competitions going for it. [ Which is weird. ] Just... ratings.

That doesn't make any sense. What are we supposed to do to win if there aren't killings or competitions?

No one knows. No one that I've spoken to, anyway. Apparently we just have to please the crowd while we're here and maybe that will do something.

All we have to do is please the crowd? Well, that's really open-ended, don't you think? I could do plenty of things that would be considered crowd pleasing.

[ He frowns, squints at the screen. ]

[Cole gives Chris one of his crazy grins.]

What's that saying, sex sells? I'm sure I could put on a good show with my experience.

[ Suddenly so sorry he asked. ]

...this isn't a children's show, is it?

Seriously, though. I'm not sure how much stock we should put into entertaining these people.

[He's going to be amazing when Kit starts dating.]

It wouldn't hurt to try, Kit. The quicker we get higher ratings, the chances are we get back so we can stop Witch Wars and make sure Wyatt's safe.

[Because shush, he's kinda fond of his godmode nephew.]
