Some believe. Some don't. Rather depends upon your creed, I suspect.

I should've guessed. I used to think it was the stuff of fairy tales, except.. [shrug] I kind of live in one.

I'm not sure. It feels like one, though, simply because things like soulmates and reincarnation aren't supposed to be everyday things.

Bits and pieces, but the minute I saw her on the Fleet... it was like I'd never forgotten her.

Exactly. I've talked to others who've lost their memories, but for them, that was it. No new lives or memories to fill in the gaps.

Usually. Salvatore didn't uh - he didn't see life the same way I do, so it's like juggling both ends of the spectrum.

[He nods.] My father - er, one of my fathers, I guess - was born there. He immigrated to the US before I was born.

I work there, actually. Based out of New York, but I've been as far afield as California lately. Jolly England might be my home, but...I have a fondness for America, if I'm honest.
