Which those were actually both accurate in his case, though he was being kind enough to let her in his territory without a few claw marks. It was downright benevolent of him.

"Yeah, yeah. I took Conservation classes at school. They're like bigger, nastier ferrets."

Kate tipped the beer bottle all the way back. It was a slog to chug the rest, but she didn't without much complaint. It helped that after a comment like that, she was better off beating a hasty retreat inside the ship rather than lingering to much longer.

Logan only grunted and gave a shake of his head before lifting the bottle to his lips again. Ferrets. If he was a ferret, then she was a songbird.

With her beer finished, she decided it was time to 'pack it in' -- so to speak. Kate gave a slow and silent nod (admitting to the end of their conversation) and then stooped to collect a few of Wolverine's empties. She didn't have enough hand-space to carry all of them, but she could at least make the most efficient use of the trip to dispose of her own. The look on her face was caught somewhere between we'll speak later and get a load of this guy.
