[ To say that Ramse is displeased is an understatement. This is the second time he's been yanked from one world to another, and where the first was actually an improvement, this second place is... not. Outerspace. Really. Really?! They don't even have space travel in his time, though he knows that in the past people made it as far as the moon. Nothing like this. His outrage at being taken is the overwhelming thing, though. He was happy in Eudio, where there was food and people he cared for. They told him they were sending him home (something he already had mixed feelings about) and instead he's here. Having to learn a new way of life all over again and excuse me it's being watched?

He's found the armory and the clothes in his bunk room, at least, so now he's dressed and armed. He sits in the cold empty space while he fiddles with the communicator. It turns out to be easy to use, and when he makes a broadcast his voice is deep and grumbly. Someone's sooooo cranky. ]

So let me get this straight, I'm new and might not have understood. We're here... to be entertainment. Not to save the world, not to help with a war, not to do anything productive at all.

[ He's seen that level of hungry before anyway. Hell, he's been it. ]

[ More wonderful concessions Sascha might not get otherwise, which is nice. He might get a bit of blood rolling down his chin, but he'll work to wipe that up with the back of his hand so he can lick that up as well, tearing into it enthusiastically with a happy...well, growl. ]

[ Have a little pat on the back; the reprimand has no sting. ]

[ It's a kinder way of being handled than he's used to, but Sascha soaks it up all the same and nods around his meal. It's not a huge piece of meat so he;ll be able to finish it in fairly short order, but hes still going to be licking his mouth and hands when he's done. ]

[ Ramse's plate has arrived but he waits until Sascha's done and ready to take the umbrella back before taking his own seat to eat. He passes a napkin over and picks up his knife and fork. ]

Feel better?

[pneumo]

Uh-huh♥ [ Much better actually. He didn't think he was all that hungry but there you go. He wolfed that down in short order and he wouldn't mind more--but he'll hold off for the moment, accepting both the napkin and his umbrella back so that Ramse can have his food too. ]

I loooooove fresh meat~

[ Maybe not that fresh, but you know. Old meat has way less appeal, and he can say this as someone who's eaten Cole's jerky. ]

So has the fleet been docked the whole time you've been here?

[pneumo]

Yup. I don't know if that's normal or anything though, I haven't really asked about it. [ Old meat definitely has little appeal to him, though he will eat it if necessary. ]

[ He doesn't know why he thought Sascha would be a font of information -- he pretty much proved he wasn't, earlier -- but it's worth asking a few things. ]

Do you know how many ships there are?

[pneumo]

....Lots? [ 6u9 ]

People come and go from here all the time.

Hmm. A guy on my ship said some of the other ones were overcrowded right now. is yours?

[pneumo]

I don't think so... I haven't had to share my room or anything yet. [ Not that he would mind. Ad not that he's really used it. He usually spends his "nights" with either Celeste or Bigby. ]

Yeah I'm not sharing either. It's weird not to be.

[ He had his own room for awhile at the apartment in Eudio but they kept their doors open and he could see and hear Cole if he needed to. And then he mostly spent his nights at Sheva's. ]

Aren't you on opposite hours from the rest of us? Or does it not usually matter, with the fake lighting?

I'm opposite. But I don't mind staying in bed with you while you sleep! You can just leave me there when you wake up!

[ Ramse's quiet for a moment. He's actually considering this... his first night alone on the ship was really rough, and he's so used to someone being there... he was actually going to ask Celeste for company while he adjusted to the place. ]

Hm. Doesn't sound fun for you.

[pneumo]

I don't mind as long as I get to be next to someone.

...you're lonely, aren't you?

Ramse's done it before, let someone lonely crash with him when they didn't have other options. But it was someone close to Cole. ]

People say that a lot about me, hehe... I guess so, yeah. [ But hey! 'Maybe' is better than no! ]

[ Another pause. ]

Well...I might have one friend. [ Which he says both happily and conspiratorially, since he would like to consider Bigby his friend--but he's kind of like a mix between that and a dad. He keeps Sascha in line. ]

I just figure you've probably got better choices than a relative stranger.

...? But I don't ind that sort of thing! I like meeting people.
